Quest Geelong — Hotel in Geelong

We stayed in a studio apartment and must say it didn’t live up to the hype of others’ reviews. We found everything a bit ‘light on’.|1. Housekeeping is ‘light on’ if you find a dirty plate in the cupboard, not enough cutlery for two people (only one of us could use a spoon at a time) and a previous guest’s frozen foods in the freezer.|2. The sound proofing is ‘light on’ when you can hear the next guest’s phone conversation on one side and the music of the guest on the other side. |3. Wall integrity has to be ‘light on’ when you sit up in bed, lean against the wall (no bed head), only to have the wall squeak! Must have been annoying to the neighbour as well as us.|4. Lift maintenance is certainly ‘light on’ when only one of the three lights is working, making for a dark & shadowy ride.|All in all, we did not find that this Quest property lived up to others in which we have stayed- Ballarat,...

The staff at reception are friendly and helpful. The room was good, If a bit bland. Everything is provided for a reasonable stay. The bed is comfortable but the pillows are hard. The room was mostly clean on arrival except for the bedside table which had cup ring stains on it as well as a few hairs and dust. Parking under cover is available. I like the Mor bathroom products. The location is a bit away from restaurants and I didn't see a supermarket in the surrounding area. I worked out why the room I have is reasonably priced; there is construction going on directly across from my room which is at the back...

Jan 2025 - My over night stay here was excellent. The location to the water and local restraints is great.

The room was extremely clean and well appointed, cook tops and microwave available.

The bed was comfortable and linen very fresh.

The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my needs of an early book in, and were extremely friendly.

Plenty of free parking out the front of the Hotel or for a cost ($20) secure parking under cover was brilliant, please be aware of low hanging air con units in the car park when parking.
