Kudos Villas Temple, Fire and Earth — Hotel in Grampians

My message to the owners on departure. I was waiting to hear back from them before posting this but haven’t heard anything since our departure. All things we raised are easy fixes. I just hope they do it before winter.

Hi guys - you have some things to sort out with your Fire villa.

The open fire doesn't ventilate well. It fills the entire villa with smoke. We both woke with sore eyes and the fire was only simmering once we went to bed.

Your reverse cycle aircon is cooked. It makes a noise that only makes it bearable to have on when you're not in the villa. Surely this has been raised previously. Leading in to winter this will cause future guests massive frustration.

You need to get your floor heating working. We tried but seems the control has no power to it.

The electric cooker outside on the balcony is for looks only. Took over one hour on high to cook two snags. It's flimsy and doesn't match the quality or image you are trying to portray.

The TV in the bedroom doesn't work properly. Last night all we could get was channel 9. The remote works but there is a massive lag after you press a button.

For four nights, and given no floor heating and the split system is unusable when in the villa, you need to provide more fire wood.

The light switch as you walk in is cracked and looks tacky. Probably not noticed on a two night stay but definitely noticed on longer ones.

Electric blankets must work - we climbed under beds to change power points. This is not good enough given heating issues leading into winter.

On arrival the initial impression is great. The soft touches were awesome. Sparkling, bottle of red, fresh bread and milk etc were first class. Linen is good but the bed linen isn't great. Definitely need some quality blankets available given heating issues.

We like to lounge on the couches and watch tv. The couch looks good for insta photos but totally impractical and uncomfortable for two people over four nights. Particularly when the tv in the bedroom doesn't operate with ease.

We host people in our properties in WA. This feedback is exactly what I would appreciate. It's ok to ask top dollar for your accommodation but you need to deliver. You guys have missed the mark with this property and until you sort out heating issues you probably should not accept bookings.

so on the 21st of December I stayed in the temple villa and I was so disgusted in the room. walked in with dust all over the place. Cog webs all over our windows. Our bath tub had NOT been cleaned properly. Our plates and pots were filthy. We had to go to coles and buy cleaning detergents to wash the plates. There was dead bugs on the floor which the floor had not been cleaned. We are so disappointed for the price we paid. We are so disappointed it was nothing to what we expected. I also took picture and the pictures had been disregarded I made several phone calls on the day to discuss the state of the house no reply. Management is so delayed in responding and compensating me. I’m appalled with the service. I paid $455 and it was just a waste of my money. Rather than us relaxing we had to make a trip to coles to buy plastic plates and cups and cutlery and not to mention CLEANING products to clean the villa because it was left in such a bloody mess. NEVER AGAIN shall we stay in...

We stayed overnight in one of the villas called nature. Very nicely designed but old furniture, smelly carpet and cushions. DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY

When we entered the villa some water on the floor and around the spa. I had to grab a towel and dry the floor.

MOST IMPORTANTLY... we filled the spa to half and hot water was gone !!!! Thats it. We couldn’t have a shower after bath in spa ! Vilas don’t have enough hot water supply. Unbelievable! We had to shower with freezing cold water. I called their emergency number , nice man answered the phone and explained we have to wait another 4 hours to have hot water again. Great !

Plus , note that they don’t have ice buckets for your Champagne .

I mean 400 AUD for a night , no enough hot water , not very clean , no good room service etc We had a bad not relaxing night there and never...
