Bridgecroft House and Villa — Hotel in Hobart

Bridgecroft house is a great place to stay. The rooms are comfortable, clean and warm beds. Adequate food although slight misunderstanding with bread and milk, however we were grateful for the hospitality and bits and pieces that were left for us. We were a little disappointed there was no firewood for the pizza oven or house. However overall we loved the house and facilities very good. We loved the record player down stairs so we had a lot of fun listening and playing some of the albums. Richmond, what a great location, from the heritage listed shops that line the main street to the famous and much photographed Richmond bridge The Villa is as advertised and offers everything one could need. Andrew was our pleasant host who made our booking, arrival and departure experience seamless. The added benefit of Richmond is that it's a short drive to Hobart but without Hobart's prices or Melbourne's traffic. Bridgecroft House was perfect for a girlie get together, so spacious with two living areas, two bathrooms and large deck to while away the days with wine and platters. House is extremely well equipped more than any other we have stayed at. The position is on outskirts of Richmond so very private, quiet and peaceful. Walk to bridge and shops if needed. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return. Host is great and gave us privacy but available if required....
