Ok where to start only words to say it's like this we spend a lot on hotels and motels each year and we were due to rent a cabin from them but we had done a days camping before we got there so we were a tiny bit scruffy we looking forward a shower and good night's rest we rang before to pre book accommodation was told rooms were available when we got there we were tired and dirty just wanted a shower to rest however when we got there reception to one look at us and told us there was no cabins available but what they didn't realise is we where due to meet other family members at the caravan Park they rang up 30 minutes after we were told there were no cabins managed to make a booking and was told there was lots accommodation available so they lied to us cause we were a tiny bit grubby. on our arrival there we observed that pretty much all the cabins were empty. So we were discriminated against cause we were a tiny bit dirty from camping we ended up going to Murray bridge and spending $180 at a hotel which was pretty good my advice to anybody considering this place is don't however there a place called Bella's place which is right across from this place advertised through Facebook and Airbnb it actually looks down on the caravan Park and one of the most beautiful rentals you will ever get it's cheaper and is a paradise shame on you Mannum caravan Park we spend thousands of dollars a year on hotels and motels as my job I means we are on the road a bit my advice stay clear of this place its a waste of money and time go to Murray bridge highly recommend Avoca dell and Murray bridge tourist Park or Murray bridge marina caravan Park they are cheaper don't discriminate and are lot friendlier and not that far from Mannum Murray bridge also has good shopping and a lot more activities for the kids to do so to breeze parks thank you for your discrimination I give you 5 stars for your...
Read moreWe have enjoyed coming to this park for years now.gr8 veiws clean amenities and facilities. But the last couple of times we have come we found the new park managers Rude none helpful both times we have been there .We had a group of people as we do they would not let my neice bring her car in to unload.1 of the managers told her she had to pay 4 a none powered site witch she did .they tried to tell me that she wanted to leave her car in witch WAS not correct she felt bullied into paying this fee.not just that but when we can cancelled our yearly booking Karen asked me why .I let it go with I would not go there due to other park patrons booking in.so when I rang her to tell her why as usual Karen would not listen to what I was trying to explain had an excuse for everything and would not let me speak rudely speaking over me everytime i tried to explain why we were not coming back .So in the end i had to hang up and ring back later with my bank details 4 a refund were she was again not letting me speak. So if I was the owner off this park I would be speaking to sum long term tenants witch also have the same issue. The old park managers made you feel like you were welcome and went out there way to make sure you were happy .On saying this this does not reflect on the staff members who work there.they are lovely just a shame about management team .I could go on but hey we will go and give our money to a park witch is welcoming. You can reply to this and write what you want but it does not change the truth .You Are Rude and the sooner they move you both on the better so the park can go back to the happy place it was. You would think in these tough times they would go out off there way to gt you into the...
Read moreWe had been looking forward to a river short break and images on the website are obviously pre-flooding. I was disappointed to see that the waterfront site (which we paid extra for) was more appropriate to describe as communal bin adjacent and that whilst the council had re-grassed nearby local water front park areas, they have not been active with the caravan park to restore the waterfront area. Very dusty on the warm days. Sound restrictions were not enforced at night by park owners and we were kept up first by screaming teenagers on the 90s era small playground (10pm+) and then groups talking and drinking past midnight. Hard going when travelling with two small children. Amenities block is VERY dated and cleaned only once daily (evidence of cleaning was minimal as dead bugs were everywhere, toilet paper on the floor and unclean toilets). Water pressure was poor and I endured a short but hot water dribble. With these disappointments, we decided to pack up and leave earlier than scheduled as the Big 4 in tailem offers much more for an equivalent cost and still had us within a reasonable distance to the river for fishing (our prime reason for the visit). The waterfront area for fishing in mannum park was a short stretch of reeds scattered with rubbish and people’s parked kayaks. The park has potential to be lovely but we won’t be back. Too many day drinking, rowdy river rats not being respectful of other campers. The service in reception was friendly but not enough to sway us to stay for our booked and prepaid three nights. We left...
