Western Heritage Motor Inn — Hotel in Moranbah

Most people don't consider Moranbah to be a place where you would choose for an extended stay, being a mining town. However every now and then you find an absolute gold nugget in such places and the Western Heritage is one of these.||||Your first impression is one of a friendly relaxed and welcoming establishment. The ladies at the desk project warmth and friendliness.||||The spacious rooms continue this with excellent facilities.||||Then you order food and it adds to the experience in spades.||||I left my watch in the room by mistake on checkout and they contacted me to say they had found it.||||I am looking forward to me next visit.||||From the restaurant I would recommend the hot breakfast, and for diner, the steak, the chicken, the fish, the salt and pepper squid.||||To top it off the beer are ice cold.||||Congratulations ladies and gentlemen you fully deserve...

I stayed here because we were hosting a work function in Moranbah. The rooms were very large, with an incredibly comfortable bed. The beds were split by the bathroom in the middle, effectively creating two rooms. There were also complimentary toiletries of a high quality. ||We planned to host a function at the Workers Club, but decided to change this to the Motel as the restaurant looked to be an exceptional atmosphere and venue. The staff were a little nervous, as they already had some large bookings and did not want to disappoint us. Vanessa was excellent and the service very good. I love the service when you arrive, noting is a drama and you're greeted with a smile.

Dinner is always tasty and fresh, cross your fingers and pray that they have the the ribs for the dinner special. they're amazing!
