Waverley Estate — Hotel in Port Elliot

Our family booked Waverley Estate for a wedding on the 17th of December 2016. The facility is spectacular and what has to offer is fantastic for a wedding. We booked the place for 3 nights because it had plenty of accommodation for the whole wedding party & it has beautiful grounds to host the ceremony. It's clearly a one stop shop for the complete function. The tennis court and pool sets the scene for the reception so many of the guests commented how fantastic it was. I would highly recommend Waverley Estate for this kind of function. My advise to people contemplating booking the facility is to read the agreement you are given & don't leave the place until you have cleaned up. If you do the right thing and abide by the rules your bond will be refunded as mine was within 4 days of departing the property. Management will sort things out if there are any issues...

The grounds are beautiful and clean, such a gorgeous place to stay which is such a shame as the organisation of those running it is poor. Communication when booking and trying to coordinate literally anything non existent. I had to follow up time and time again just to find out something as simple as when we could check in from or where the keys would be kept, or how to check in? I was not asked once what we would be using property for and was greeted by disgruntled, aggressive owner asking to turn music down for 20 girls having a respectful drink and a dance at 4pm in the afternoon. We had a small wedding at Waverley estate 28th of October 2023 🌷🩷 Campbell was informative and wonderful help to organise local catering etc. The grounds made for a spectacular back drop for our wedding photos. The home has everything you'll need for a stay, and the beds are super comfy. Our entire wedding party got to stay with us for our wedding weekend, and all the separate rooms from the home are step up with the thought of a comfort.
