I was introduced to No. 58 Cellar Door and Gallery by a friend - what a cool find! Such a relaxed atmosphere, great quality food, excellent wines and locally made products available for purchase. The pizza was excellent! Combined with a salad and a bottle of sangiovese this was a great meal.

No. 58 is our weekend ‘Go-To’ on the coast. Consistent, seamless and kind-smiled front of house, paired with a fantastically executed, modern take on traditional Italian sourdough, wood-fired pizza… how can you go wrong?

Lovely place to have a glass of wine and enjoy vineyard views. Couldn’t have pizza this time as there was a 45 min wait, but wine was delicious!

Went in and asked to do a wine tasting and was told that they are too busy with food currently and there may be a long wait to do so. Surely they could have put wine tasting glasses out, put different wines to taste in each glass, and left us to discuss what we wanted to purchase whilst they tried to organise themselves. We therefore ordered coffees and cake. After waiting 45 minutes for a coffee, we asked if we could have the coffees as take away. Cakes that were also ordered, could have at least have been brought out but had to get the cakes to go. They were not overly busy for a cafe, had 2 staff (assumed it was the owners?) fussing about a wood fire pizza oven, another staff member walking around looking like he was lost, leaving another 2 staff behind the counter to take orders, bring the orders out to the tables, and handle the "wine tastings". Seems other people were having similar experiences to us. ...

Lovely outdoor area under the tree and next to the vineyards. Wine was ok. Staff were friendly. Took a while between tastings when they had no other customers and didn't take the time to explain anything which was strange for a cellar door. But the food was what really let it down. The 'fries' were so soggy and oily and we ordered three lots so it wasnt like there was a bad batch - they were all like this. The pizza was inconsistent - we all ordered a lamb pizza. All of them had hardly any meat on it (one tiny cube per slice of pizza). One base was fine, one was burnt on one side and one was completely undercooked. Not a lot of flavour to save it either so wouldn't recommend this place...

Have been several times in the past and loved it. But they have lost the plot recently. Phone app gives the familiar summer menu and prices. But we arrived today, in summer to be told they were offering a spring menu (prices seemed significantly higher) and, oh sorry, we’ve run out of food! 1.30pm on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon and yep, they’d literally run out of food. Unless we were willing to wait for them to fire up the wood oven pizza place out back. And we could of course buy some of their (very ordinary) wine. We came for share platters and a glass of wine, we left agog that what had always been a reliable local winery could have gone so badly down...
