Robertson Country Motel — Hotel in Robertson

So here I am sitting in room 3 reading previous guests issues with room 3. ||||Good news is it’s the same tired old place. The dead caterpillars are still mummified behind the front door. Proof of really poor quality cleaning.||In my favor though, there’s no army of new recruits trying to slime their way in.🪱||Gladly there’s no poo on the walls or blood on the carpet. Reading about that was weird beyond belief...||||Different to other guest experiences the sheets are crisp and clean. There’s a hair dryer, iron and ironing board as well as what appears to be a new shower curtain. The air con works and seems to be staying at its selected temperature. Security on the bathroom window is an old broom stick. If only I could find the broom head I could sweep the myriad caterpillar corpses out the door 🤔||||The tea/ coffee set up was acceptable and there was cold water and milk in the fridge.||||To be honest, based on everything I’ve read, I’m wearing thongs on the carpet and in the shower. I’ve wiped down every surface with Dettol wipes ( however I feel the tv remote is beyond help short of radiation ).||||Let’s face it. This is a tired old motel that needs to be bulldozed. You really are on a budget if you stay here. I’m a guy on a solo road trip with a limited budget. I thought I’d treat myself to a nice bed and a hot shower after 3 days of camping. The shower was actually really good.||||At the end of the day you get what you pay for. My stay was just acceptable but I’d never stay here...

we traveled interstate and had booked 4 rooms for 2 nights for a family wedding.||We arrived Friday evening of a long weekend. As each room was entered, we were all overcome by the overpowering fumes of eucalyptus cleaner. On closer inspection the rooms had not been cleaned to any standard. Toilets still had pubic hair in them and one of the toilets still had the remnants of feces. One room water bottle had a thick yellow sediment at the bottom, another room had a large shard of glass in the fridge which looked liked it belonged to a bottle. ||The utensils and cups had been rinsed and not washed. One room bathroom basin had a leak underneath and had toilet paper stuffed around the pipe to stop the water contacting the chip board cupboard. ||Also in these cupboards looked like mouse poo. One room had no toilet paper.||The sheets and blankets were stained. A mattress underneath the sheets was all torn and shredded.||Contacted owner who told us a cleaner would come out. We waited 2 hours for no one to show. ||Contacted owner for a refund so we could look for alternative accommodation. We had sent numerous photos to the owner and they...

We booked to attend a wedding and upon opening the door were greeted with blood splatter on the carpet and vanity cabinet, grubs/bugs live and moving all over door and floor, dirt and garbage on floors and under beds, dirty glasses and cupboard, torn material on seats, mould on walls and cobwebs and dust everywhere as well as a damp smell.. there was no way we could sleep there and despite leaving two voice mails saying we were not staying didnt get contact from management for 3 days and only after repeated messages via booking site. Was offered a $40 refund and the manager bragged about how they made the changes they were told||To make last time health department were called in so the rooms are fine. I’ve never felt as dirty in my life as I did leaving this room and really felt happier driving the 4hrs home at 10:30 at night then stay in...
