What an incredible experience, from the decor, the warm hospitality that was shown and of course the cheeses! My friend and I tried the 3 cheese, salami and pickle toastie, and the three cheese tasting platter. MIND. BLOWN. The toastie was crispy, cheesy, fragrant, and the pickle cut through the fatty taste of the salami and cheese perfectly. And the tasting platter was just equally scrumptious though I have to admit my favourite has to be the Bloomy cheese. What a cheese. And after reading more about Percora Dairy on their website, it's clear that the owners take much pride in their work. I cannot wait to open up the Jamberoo Mountain Blue and try it. Visiting this place was the highlight of today's trip to Robertson and I will definitely come back to Robertson just to revisit. Also HUGE credit to Michael for singlehandedly running the place (prepping food, making coffee, cutting cheese) with so many people coming in non-stop.

Lovely shop. My friends and I came to Robertson to visit the Big Potato, and eat a pie. I happened to see a collection of shops across the road which piqued my interest and I'm very happy I went and had a sticky beak. Pecora dairy isn't a large store but what it lacks in quantity it more than makes up for in quality. The cheeses, and other products, are all locally made. In addition to cheese there are patés, terrines, cured meats, butter, chocolate, honey, salts, and platter accessories. The store clerk was very informative and helpful to deciding which items we eventually purchased.

Great to see Pecora Dairy open their much awaited wine and cheese bar in Robertson! An excellent selection of quality cheeses and salamis… possibly the best Bresaola I’ve ever had. A small, but quality selection of Aussie wines at a reasonable price… friendly, cosy spot… Love it!

My wife and i went to the burrawang easter markets earlier on today.

While were there we visited the Pecora cheese and wine stall. We are both strict vegetarians and specifically asked them if there was any animal rennet in the cheese.

The man running the stall who claimed to be the one who makes the cheese reassured my wife that the fetta does not have any animal rennet. After feeding her the sample he said to her that the ingredients may say animal rennet but I am telling you as i make it that it is vegetarian rennet. My wife was devastated that for the sake of a sale we were mislead.

As we left the stall we saw the man smirking.

We have visited many cheese shops and this is the first time that someone has stooped so low.

If we could give 0...
