Edit: the insanity continues. Last night we went down for a schnitzel and were told that "only people doing line dancing are allowed to have schnitzels.". Excuse me? The place was nearly empty, there were at least two people scoffing schnitzels (and no line-dancing happening) and since when can you force people to participate in an activity, in return for their dinner? We won't bother renewing our membership this year and we won't be back as long as the Schnitzel Nazi is holding food hostage. We went up to the pub, where they were happy to serve us dinner and didn't require us to perform in return. Spent $150 that we would otherwise have spent at the club - our club, which is actively turning patrons away.

This place has gone up and down every time there's a new person in the kitchen. We try to give them time to adjust, and try to remain loyal. But in the last 3 months not only has the food quality gone right down, but the portions are getting smaller and smaller (while prices go up). Last night's schnitzel came with 18 chips. Both orders for our table came with 18 chips (shown in the photo before I started my meal). Are they counting the chips for some reason? The children's meals are more generous. We were also charged $10 extra, per meal, for the "full schnitzel", but it was every bit as meagre as the "special", which isn't a special at all (because it contains so much less food). There certainly wasn't $10 worth of extra food on the plate. For a town that celebrates potatoes, it seems especially ungenerous (but then I doubt they buy local potatoes). Also, the woman in the kitchen is incredibly surly and unpleasant, every single time. We believe in supporting local, but we don't believe in supporting rudeness or rip-off merchants. Unfortunately, Robbo Bowling Club now...

I went to the Christmas in July event. Dispite the fact that when i arrived it was busy i was seated straight away at a festively decorated table. I went up to the bar and was served by a young lady who was happy to help with all of my all odd requests. When the meal arrived it was fresh and tasted fantastic and was served with a smile. All my husbands dietary requirements where soughted and it was never an issue for the staff to help with any requests. Dessert was fantastic and the young lady who brought it out made sure that my husband could eat it and offered alternatives if he couldn't. And the staff made sure that we where well taken care of and If I could rate a 6 stars I would

I can't wait until the next time I come up, I will definitely be visiting the club.

Do yourself a favour go in and say hi...

Attended the Christmas in July lunch with my family. $40/head, pre-booked in advance. Kept waiting for over an hour to be served our set menu meal, while other tables had their main and dessert served and cleared away. When we alerted the staff that we hadn’t been served yet (even though we’d been shown to our table and served some bread), we were informed they were working off a list. If we’d known it would have been over an hour, we would have had a wander around town and come back then. When the food was finally served, it was underwhelming. Pork was overcooked and dry, and the whole plate was drenched in salty gravy. The dessert was better, but not enough to salvage a...

Quiet Bowlo' with a nice community atmosphere. Saturday evening dinner is the real Robbo flavour. Family friendly. Lots of locals eat & drink here. Forget Robertson Inn... this Bowlo is the real deal. Good bar prices. Friendly staff. My only wish is that it had a couch bowling green. A cruisey peaceful place for a beer. Order a beer & take a look at the member's nicknames on the slab raffle board. Very funny. True Aussie watering hole. A delight. A+

This place is so underrated! The food is fantastic, theres free pool, a lovely fireplace in the centre, comfy chairs. The only thing missing is a good outdoor area. There's plenty of space outside that they could have a playground, and comfy sitting area. They have lots of events and activities too. We love going there!
