If you’re after a unique and budget-friendly stay in Sydney, the Cozy M Hotel offers a fresh take on communal-style accommodation. Situated in the heart of Woolloomooloo, this hidden gem combines comfort, practicality, and a welcoming atmosphere. Each floor features private rooms alongside shared amenities, including two communal bathrooms and toilets. While the bathrooms are kept clean, I recommend wearing jandals for hygiene. Rest assured, your belongings are safe here – during my stay, a smartwatch was left in the bathroom for days without issue. The second floor is home to a well-equipped communal kitchen, perfect for whipping up anything from a simple meal to a gourmet feast. If you’re feeling ambitious, you even have the tools to bake! The cozy recreational space on the same floor is great for unwinding or connecting with fellow travelers. Breakfast is a standout feature at Cozy M. The free morning spread includes not only wholesome breakfast options but also snacks you can pack for your day. This thoughtful touch is perfect for anyone traveling on a budget or planning a busy day out in Sydney. For some downtime, the rooftop area offers a peaceful retreat with lovely city views. There’s also a laundry area for added convenience, making longer stays hassle-free. Cozy M strikes a balance between simplicity and comfort. It’s perfect for couples, students, or solo travelers who appreciate communal living and value saving money for Sydney’s adventures. However, it’s not your traditional full-service hotel, so manage your expectations accordingly. The location is ideal, with Woolloomooloo’s charming attractions just a short walk away. Enjoy a stroll along the picturesque Finger Wharf, visit the Royal Botanic Gardens, or explore nearby dining options like Chinatown and the Sapporo Miso Ramen Factory Sora for delicious ramen. A special mention goes to the staff, particularly Lala, whose friendly conversations made my stay truly memorable. Her warmth and genuine interest in guests, when approached, create a welcoming vibe that makes you want to return. Overall, Cozy M Hotel offers a refreshing, community-focused perspective on accommodation. It’s well-kept, conveniently located, and perfect for travelers looking to experience Sydney without breaking the bank. Highly recommended!

I stayed for two nights at Cozy M during my visit to Sydney. It offers good value for the room provided, and I had no issues with the shared bathroom or shower. The wifi connection is stable and I managed to do a 3-hour meeting without interruption. However, the room was not soundproof, so I was kept awake on the first night by noises from above and outside in the street. The reception operates from 9am to 4pm, but the communication has been prompted and fuss free via the Agoda platform. The check-in instructions were clear. The staffs are friendly and approachable. Location-wise, it is within a short walk from Kings Cross station and provides easy access to public transport

A converted backpackers accommodation style hotel. Shared bathrooms, some renovations have been done, however some small touches have been missed such as a toilet roll holder in the ladies toilet. Hair dryers supplied in each room plus tea & coffee. Within walking distance to most city attractions approximately 20 mins stroll or a $10-$20 uber. Very new and interesting bar two doors down, highly recommend #KandiLuxe. We would stay here again.

The rooms are very small so I would recommend this place to stay for a couple of nights since you don't have space to organize your clothes or to place the luggage. Everything was tidy and clean. The check-in was easy and simple. Good price. The lights on the hallways should be turned off or lower the intensity during the night because they are very strong, and they bother when you want to sleep since the light filters through the door inside the room. The film projectors are cute, but the sound is not that good. A good thing is that it includes soap, shampoo, and conditioner. You also have free cold/hot water to drink and...
