For its position, I could not fault it. Did it live up to advertising, definitely not. Was smaller than advertised and could hardly walk around bed. While i can not speak for the other apartments, we must have got the worst (#2). Avoid it at all costs. While we could put up with the peeling paint off just about every second wall, the smell as you walk in was not pleasant and clearly they have much dampness issues. Could not open a kitchen cupboard without a good kick of mould. If you did want to bake, oven door did not even close properly. Again, we were there just for the weekend and really only needed a place to sleep and shower so overlooked much of that. It was not until we had our first shower that we had our first major issue. The bathroom drain overflowed and before you knew it, we were ankle deep in water. Not ideal when it was all around the toilet and wash basin. We did call and they sent a cleaner to clean it up thinking it was a one off. It clearly wasn't and we had to limit our showers to avoid a repeat and to protect the property. Next day, we called again as problem was worse. We at least got a mop this time around but it was like drying up a pond with a tissue. Wasted effort and did not expect to be cleaning on our weekend getaway. While management was responsive, and a little apologetic, I was only upset when signing out the guest book to find that the problem was there for 5-6 months. Lots of unhappy customers and nothing seemed to be done to fix it, let alone warn us about it. We showered elsewhere on the last day and for what we paid, would have been better off staying at one of the cheaper motels (thought i was going to avoid this). We loved Temora and its township and people, so this was not going to ruin our getaway. Fortunately we could easily wade through the bathroom, and glad we did not have any elderly with us as it would have been a slip hazard. Kids would have had a blast though having an indoor water park. Won't be going back...

Firstly, there is only an aircon in the lounge and not the bedroom - this is a bit of trouble if you can’t sleep well in the heat, the shower head has a fair bit of mould in it but the bed was fine.
There are a few apartments in this large house and at about 1am in the morning, the occupants above started running around the place for what seemed like a while. As the floor boards are creeky and there isn’t much sound insulation, you could hear everything.
Same for the windows which are single glazed and don’t have blackouts so the storm coming through made a lot of noise and the light came through the windows early.
It was tough to say I enjoyed my stay as I thought this would have been a good stop over for a good nights sleep driving from Melbourne to Brisbane.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t say I enjoyed my stay at this apartment, nor did I get the rest I wanted for the long drive the next day. Has potential but would need to fix up the above and perhaps...
