Temora French Hot Bread — Restaurant in Temora

Good selection of pastries (both savoury and sweet) and multiple fridges full of a large choice of drinks. I really like that the pies are square, by far the most superior shape for a pie, and the pastry is good too. Unfortunately the filling was lackluster, lots of gravy with minimal meat. Staff said the Ned Kelly pie was bacon, cheese and an egg; it had the egg, hardly any meat, and no bacon or cheese. Next came the curry potato which had no curry, and the potato wasn't salted so it was very bland (again, with minimal meat). I only tried the pies so I can only comment on those, everything else looked good though. Perhaps I'll give this bakery another chance when I drive through next to see how...

Most unfortunate experience today at 1.15pm. I went in to get a plain egg sandwich and the teenage staff told me that there was no bread left to make a fresh sandwich. With that I had to go somewhere else for my egg sandwich. When I returned to work I rang to speak to the owner and I was told that she’s not in, I asked who was running the business, I was told that person won’t be in till after 4pm. Fresh bread and salad but they put the poorest amount of topping on the sandwich.. I don’t mind paying for a salad sandwich if it’s got a decent amount of topping but this was terrible. I come through town regularly and would have gladly visited every time to get a sandwich but when you pay top$ for a sandwich with barely anything, probably $2 worth of salad and bread I won’t be coming back anytime soon, I’ll be visiting other places for lunch.
