I came here for dinner with a group of friends just visiting town. The menu has no vegetarian main meal options so be aware if you have dietary restrictions. I talked to the staff who talked to the chef who is too busy and overworked to cater to non-omnivore customers. Due to lack of options I ordered onion rings which were serviceable, and a garlic bread which had bacon on it despite my explcit vegetarian request. If they deliberately put meat on a vegetarian's food, what other dietary restrictions are they deliberately trying to avoid catering to?

Nice place to stop over to stretch your legs and grab a bite. Had dinner and the food was good. The place was clean and quiet. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was ok but we didn't know anyone so we didn't enjoy it like the locals as we felt we were sticking out like a sore thumb at the place. It was late at night and it was nice of them to reopen the kitchen to get us something to eat. The staff were friendly and courteous. Like I said, nice place to stop over when you do a Sydney run.

In Temora for the airshow. Friday night meal was at Temora Hotel. Long day of driving. Went for the basic chicken schnitzel with mushroom sauce. What a treat! Loved it. Crunchy outside but moist meat, complemented with the sauce. Not too large a serve. Lovely side salad and nicely cooked chips. Fair price. Love to come back.

We came for Saturday lunch. Few people mostly locals coming for a drink or family lunch.

We ordered the specials, the lamb shank is pretty good, fall apart meat really tender

Margherita pizza was below average, dough not airy, tomato sauce seasoning too heavy and not fresh, cheese was just regular store-bought pizza cheese not good mozzarella, basil covered in cheese and baked? no olive oil. Anyways, not what you would expect for a good Margherita pizza.

To summarise, good serving size and food will be nice if you go for the pub classics, just don’t go out of the ordinary. Also drinks...
