We booked this property through Booking.com, where it was clearly advertised as suitable for 3 adults with an extra charge. The listing stated there would be 1 king bed and 1 queen bed—two beds in total. We also submitted a special request via Booking.com to confirm this arrangement, and it was approved.
After traveling all the way from Brisbane, we arrived to find that our booking had not been processed. The woman at the reception told us they were “too busy” due to it being the end of the month. Read moreShocked that someone like Freddie is in charge of running a business. Booked a room months in advance, paid for, for a family member. This family member called up for the booking reference the day before to be rudely told that this booking was cancelled and that they were fully booked out. When I called and spoke to Freddie, he was dismissive, rude and wanted to wipe his hands clean of a clear problem with someone double booking a room. Freddie was adamant that booking.com had cancelled it and there was nothing he could do. When I went on to my booking on booking.com, the booking was confirmed and still active. After multiple phone calls and requesting a full refund, Freddie said ‘fine have the room’. Freddie would benefit greatly from proper business management training and customer service skills—because at present, both are sorely lacking. Only 1 star is for Nicole who was lovely...
