I recently stayed at this wonderful hotel and had an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcomed with their warm and professional service. The hotel itself is modern, clean, and beautifully designed, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. I was particularly impressed with the convenient garage parking, which made my stay hassle-free, especially since I was traveling by car. It was secure and easily accessible, adding to the overall convenience of the hotel.The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the breakfast. The variety of food available was incredible—there was something for everyone! From fresh pastries and fruits to hot dishes, local specialties, and healthy options, the buffet was well-stocked and beautifully presented. The quality of the food was outstanding, and the dining area was spacious and pleasant, making mornings a delight. I also appreciated the attentive staff who ensured everything was replenished and the area remained spotless.The rooms were cozy, spotlessly clean, and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a relaxing stay. I wrote a review yesterday but am revising it due to the excellent solutions provided to me by Birgit and one other staff member in regards to the Wifi connection in my room on the 4th Floor (it does not have Wifi at all). I run webinars and work remotely, so Wifi is very important to my ability to do my work, naturally.

I was offered the ability to work in their conference area and provided free cappucinos for the trouble. Thus I have changed my rating and do recommend this hotel anyway, due to its price (try Priceline), and to the beautiful view from the top floor, as well as the comfort, quietude, and kindness from Birgit and others on the reception staff. I also would mention that the A/C in the room is a welcome thing in the heat of July/August, and not common to find in hotels in Europe.

As far as location, it really depends on what you are able to incorporate into your stay: are you a walker, biker, public transport person? This hotel is very close to the main Salzach pathway into Altstadt, and not very far (10 mins bike, 20 walking appx)

I personally would much rather save money and be a bit on the outer edge of town, but for me it's still close as I love to walk and bike. You can also enjoy food onsite or there is a Billa only 5 min walk right around the corner from the hotel (2 blocks up, and 2 blocks over)

We had a really great experience at this hotel. It's especially convenient for travelers arriving by car, as it's located on the outskirts of Salzburg — no need to drive into the city center. There’s a bus stop just a few steps from the entrance, and the front desk staff were incredibly helpful. They provided clear directions and even printed a schedule showing which bus line to take and when. For just €4 per ride or €6 for a 24-hour pass, you can reach the old town in about 25 minutes with no hassle. Free parking is available right next to the hotel. The check-in process was quick and friendly. Our room was slightly larger than average, very clean, and had a spacious, modern bathroom with a great shower and good-quality toiletries. It also had a fridge and came with two complimentary bottles of cold water.

The breakfast was absolutely amazing — fresh, rich, and beautifully presented. There was a wide selection of cheeses, pastries, breads, fruits, and more.
