I was skeptical about the self-checkin because I haven't tried it before, but it was so easy and convenient! The room is so beautiful too, I wish I could stay longer. I have to say it is one of the most beautiful I've ever been to. Very clean. Relaxing ambience too. Value for money. So happy with the management team as well. The hotel manager promptly replied to my request when I made my reservation a day prior. Also during checking out, I have a very heavy luggage but a hotel staff helped me out. Really grateful for the help. I can't speak German but everyone in the hotel had been helpful and nice to me. Also, I got the breakfast package. It is a buffet and everything served was hearty and delicious. You get a lot for the price you pay! Really loved my stay. I hope I can go back! Happy to recommend ⚘

I loved this place, a really nice cozy and clean hotel..staff are very nice and super helpful. The room is clean & simple but has mostly everything you need: TV, power plugs, small bed, wardrobe and shower (toilet was shared outside of the room). They have a very convenient area like a lounge where you can work till the checkin time (which they did for me way earlier than expected too). it’s a small hotel with no gym or sauna. wifi is ok but not the best it’s a shared toilet but it’s very clean and has a lot of needed amenities (liquid soap, hand cream) They also have self checkin and it’s super easy and quick. It’s 2 mins walk from a very nice and long trail for running, walking or chilling

This was convenient for my business trip to the University… The breakfast fruhstuck was wonderful. The room was nice. The only unfortunate thing since I was there on business was that the second block of nights that I was there I could not access their Wi-Fi on my phone or on my computer…:(. But Other than that the remote system to access the rooms in the front of the building worked perfectly and very thing else was sehr gut.

We had done some research prior to booking at the Plainbruecke Hotel but were still surprised by a number of things. We knew that it was not convenient to tourist attractions or to Old Town Salzburg but needed to stay close to where a traveling companion was staying with a relative. Although there was a city bus stop directly across the street and the distance to the bus terminal was not terribly unreasonable, it was still costly for bus fares, time consuming waiting for the proper bus and no fun standing in Salzburg's constant rains. Our friend purchased bus tickets in booklets for some minor savings. The hotel reception desk was only open limited hours and closed between 8:30-9:30pm depending upon how the desk clerk was inclined. Thus, when our television would not work on our first night, there was noone at the desk. Apparently, the manager (or owner) resides on the top floor of the hotel and could be available for problems but we were not so advised upon check-in. There were no good dining options within easy walking distance. There was supposedly an excellent Italian restaurant right next door which closed over some rental disagreement with the owners of the hotel. Now there is only a nearby Spar market and a terrible ice creamery. Despite the foregoing, the hotel apparently has a business clientele. To their credit, since we did not want to pay the extra cost for their breakfast, the hotel provided us with a mini-refrigerator for our own food and drinks. We were in a small ground floor room on the street side of the hotel. Even though we opened windows and used a portable fan for ventilation, the room was always stuffy at night. From the first day we checked in, the internet access in our room did not work. We reported the problem which they acknowledged they were trying to fix and two days later there was finally resolution. The Plainbruecke Hotel is probably not for tourists but acceptable if you overlook the...

Sehr angenehmer Hotelaufenthalt in diesem familiengeführten Hotel!
