COOL MAMA Hotel Salzburg Sky Restaurant Bar — Restaurant in Salzburg

We arrived via the airport and due to an early flight we were at the hotel by 11.30 we couldn't get into our room until 3 pm as we had to sit around, the hotel is used most days for companies meetings which are in the foyer so it's not very welcoming, we paid for a view across countryside but the hotel is built on an industrial site so you actually look out on factory units. The minight bar had been used by a previous client who had re- filled the wine bottles with water and put then back . We stayed in our room until 10.45 as we were on holiday then went to salzburg for the day and returned at around 3.30 to a dirty room and wet towels reception said they had not had much time that morning and as we were not out of the room until after 11 it wasn't cleaned. I left a shirt by mistake so I rang and was asked for a credit card payment to cover the postage which I was happy to pay, it's almost a month now and I still haven't received the shirt. Comfortable stay with great perks, but room for improvement

Stayed at COOL MAMA Hotel and overall had a great experience. The room was very spacious and well-equipped with a coffee maker, safe box, and quality toiletries The shower was excellent—great water pressure and a sleek design that made it feel luxurious.

Breakfast was a highlight: fresh, delicious, and with lots of variety. From warm pastries to eggs and fruit, everything was top quality. The staff were friendly and the overall vibe of the hotel was modern and stylish. The hotel’s rooftop restaurant and terrace offer panoramic views of Salzburg and the surrounding Alps

Parking was super convenient, and the hotel provided a public transport pass which made getting into Salzburg easy and stress-free. Need to walk 10 min to get to the bus stop

A few things could be better: the reception staff weren’t as warm or welcoming as expected, which was a bit disappointing. Also, while the room had a mini bar, it came with extra charges, so keep that in mind.

This is the dumping hotel when lufthansa cancels flights at last minute. Whilst the hotel itself looks ok, rooms and food ok the customer service is sorely lacking. After being told by lufthansa this hotel has twin rooms it doesnt. I was forced to share a double bed with my adult child. Neither cool mama reception nor lufthansa would allow us 2 rooms for the unexpected layover despite my child and I having separate flight bookings. I have a mefical condition and now have not slept the past 24 hrs whilst stuck here ( thr hotel is miles from town) . Customer care factor is ZERO despite my many attemots at trying to resolve the issue at yhe cool mama end. This is the first negative review i have ever written. When back in Europe again ( and I travel alot) I will nevet use lufthansa or cool mama evet again. | Its all about money not customet comfort which is such an important factor when rhibgs go wrong.
