OEKOTEL Salzburg — Hotel in Salzburg

I loved this place. Definitely recommend staying here if you find yourself in Salzburg. Everything was perfect: The rooms were clean and tidy, and I couldn't find anything dirty. The bathrooms were clean, had a smart design and were well equipped. There was hot water 24/7. The LED TV was working. The lift worked during the whole time I was there. The classic breakfast (Frühstuck) was tasty, well organized and available every single day, included in the room price. The ladies at the reception were polite, helpful and they knew English. At no point anybody bothered us, and the rooms were sound-proof enough that I didn't have any problem sleeping. The small dark-haired cleaning lady (3rd floor) was very sweet and cooperative. She helped and cleaned whatever and whenever we asked her to and was really dedicated to her work.

The only thing I think can be improved upon is the shower. If you turn the water handle more than half way up, so much water will flow that the design of the floor won't be able to direct all of it to the sewer, causing it to accumulate and spill out towards the toilet and then to the door. I don't know if it can flow out of the bath because I turned the water flow to a minimum after I saw it reaching the sink.

All in all, probably the best fair priced hotel I've stayed at in Europe. It's services, quality and standards are something only germans and austrians can constantly pull off. If I come back to Salzburg, I'll know this...

One of the worst travel experiences in my life, and given its price - the worst. One night for 86 euros 🤡 but its true cost is 20 euros, not more.

The hotel is situated far away from the city in an industrial park. In evening air in the area smells very strange, the rooms also are scented with annoying smell. The hotel and the rooms are old-fashioned, and could be a good set for a thriller inspired by 1980s. I've never seen such a strange bathroom door, its okay design for a motel, but not for a hotel for this price. All what is happening in the corridor can be perfectly heared in the room. Check-in is till 21 and checkout is till... 10 AM!! Okay, anyway I'd prefer to leave it ASAP The mattresses are too soft, and the pillows are big and firm, it's impossible to sleep well

first thing keep in mind that there wont be a single person to help you in the night after 10 pm. we reached hotel after 10 ( we did mention that in booking.com about time of arrival) still no single person in the reception.||there is electronic key dispenser at the entry point but they never gave us the pin code (not asked earlier, our mistake; thats what hotel staff told next day). When they dont make any delay in taking money before 3 days of arrival i dont understand why they couldnt give the key dispenser code same time. ||there should be some one to attend the calls for the night, i mean what happens if some emergency arrives.||these hotel staff and owner doesnt care about customers satisfaction. as we reach night 10.30 there was not a single staff and nobody responding to calls even. then we had to take another room outside for more amount.||and when we told about this next day they are...
