This is not a 4 star hotel!||Price vs service is ridiculous. I’ve been checking hotels around, in the same area, and this hotel is on the same level with other 4s hotels. Stuff is unpolite (except the two lady waiters- short blond hair and black long hair lady), poorly speaks English, and service is way below 4 star. ||We’ve been there for 7 days and every day we got more and more surprised (not in a good way). The spa area doesn’t have any extra towels or anything to refresh (water, tea, fruits...) after being in the sauna or steam bath; not a single shower gel or shampoo. ||If you have plan to maintain you fitness level in the gym, don’t bother. The gym is old and doesn’t have literally anything what would be useful for any type of workout. It looks like it needed a renovation since 2010! Again no water, no towels, no mats no dumbbells.||Breakfast is ok, apart that is the same every single day. No fresh croissants or pastry. Everyday the same breakfast. Also left over from the night before were placed on the breakfast buffet table.||Dinner, sadly, to say but absolutely awful! Combination of sea food (mid January when the hotel is surrounded with 50cm of snow- very strange)with coping Italian cuisine, plain main courses and boring deserts. Same sad salads variety every night and super boring and tasteless starter from the buffet.||The classic room is tiny, they didn’t clean the wash basin in 6 days. We had to ask to change our beddings and bathrobes, otherwise they wouldn’t have for the whole vacation. The bed is super uncomfortable and they have only the goose feather pillow. I’m used to sleep with an hard pillow, so I woke up every morning with a sore neck...||They room had a sofa with big stain and fainted colour... honestly disgusting. We always had to ask for shower gel. They didn’t have cotton pads, cotton sticks, conditioner. I asked the receptionist and she reply we don’t have!||They were giving us 4 towels, 2 big for the shower, 2 small one but if we were going to the pool, we didn’t have a towel for the shower.||The tall waiter running the bar super rude. I requested a fork, and he told me go and get it yourself in the buffet area, which it was in the other room, and the cabinet with the cutlery, where right next to him.||The ladies in the restaurant are nice... at least they are smiling and trying to help you.||We went to look around the area, to see what was the price, 4stars S right next to the ski lift was 6 euro more expensive per day. ||Andrea, hotel owner or manager, was quite unprofessional as well. When we booked the hotel we spoke with her and she told us that someone can come and pick us up from the train station if we need. I texted her on the way to St. Johann and surprisingly or not she never replied. ||Looked 10 times better!||Guys don’t bothered it’s really...
Read moreThis is an Edit following the prompt reply of Hotel Lerch indicating that I have never been a guest. Well, my email address linked to my account has the family name before marriage, so i apologize for jumping so fast to this confusion 😊
Not only that i was a guest at Hotel Lerch, but I was a very disappointed one. Unfortunately, during the stay at Hotel Lerch, i was bitten by BEDBUGs from the first night of stay, having an aggressive allergic reaction ruining my entire ski trip, my health, my return home, and my expenses of this experience overall. Initially, i thought it was from food, but after consultation with my GP, it was confirmed that the swollen bumps all over my body were from insect bites. Also on the last day, my husband woke up as well with itchy bumps( luckily not having an allergic reaction as i did) we checked the bed linings and FOUND THEM. We informed the staff in a very kind way before leaving, asking for that room to be isolated, disinfected by specialists, and not rented anymore. After this, we took the discussions online and i requested a full refund of the accommodation( it was unacceptable for me to pay for sleeping with bugs in same bed), and received back less than half of this amount, the hotel didn’t leave any room for negotiation, they sent it just like that thru the third party booking company. They mentioned lawyers in conversation to intimidate us, (as i saw it, is a common practice from their side, here on Google reviews, some people are complaining of same approach when they gave less rating - check 1 star reviews) hiwever this practice is not complying with Google policies. Nevertheless, since they refunded me part of the money, I take it as an approval from the Hotel Lerch side regarding my unfortunate and unpleasant experience during my stay - even if the cost didn’t cover for my unpleasant health issues, medications, ski pass not used because of sickness, for all the clothes I had to throw away to avoid the infestation of bedbugs back home, for all specialized substances I had to buy to prevent infestation in my house, EMOTIONAL stress etc., but I was happy that at least they acknowledged it and took some kind of responsibility even so. Altogether, i do not intend to denigrate their imagine, this was only my bad experience, but honestly, it is an experience i would never ever recommend to anybody and happily I have this wonderful space where I have the liberty to express...
Read moreOur booking request was very clear in the fact that we asked for a double room, and with a (open/nice) view. On arrival it appeared none of that. Only one room had some kind of a view. The rooms were both filled with an extra (bunk) bed which made them effectivelly very small considering the fact they are advertised on the hotel's website as 'comfort zimmer'. We talked about the issues with the manager. After some discussion she promised to look for an alternative in another hotel and get back to us. In the end she did not do anything, not even communicate! As guests we felt very offended by that. ||||The website mentions double rooms and family rooms but they are basically all the same. It is a small family room which can be used by a couple or -a better descrition- it is a double room with an extra bed. The extra bed in your room does not make the room comfortable. Far from that. There is hardly room left to sit. There is only one chair. The rooms have small windows in weird low positions (does not provide a view).||||For a comfort zimmer it is a very basic room. It does have all the amenities you would expect. ||||From the website you get the impression that the hotel is located 'im freie Lage', however it is enclosed by other buildings. There are no views from the room into the valley.||||Food is very basic and most of the time not very tasty. ||||Staff in the dinning room was nice. ||||The hotel seems popular with large groups. Does make it noisy and...
