Hotel Lercher — Hotel in Sankt Veit im Pongau

Be careful, don't be fooled. Read detailed explanation below: This hotel has 2 buildings; old and new buildings. Photos of old building are not seen in google map; however, when you click links for booking you are directed to rooms and prices of old and new buildings both, since hotel names are similar you may continue with Hotel Gastezimmer Lercher. Naturally prices of old building is cheaper but rooms of old buildings are smelling exactly as sewage. Bathroom has no windows or ventilation as seen in photos. We could not stand this sewage smell and we could slept with open window only. Although old and new buildings are in same location, you are not allowed to use swimming pool or sauna if you buy rooms from old building. However, Hotel Lercher represents new building, and you may not have any abovementioned problems. Main problem is owner does not show "Hotel Gastezimmer Lercher" separately in google maps and therefore you may book from old hotel as a mistake. I have read previous comments about this hotel. Good comments belong to new building, bad comments belong to old building. It is somehow not good for hotelowner to mix old and new buildings together. Good location close to Alpe Adria. Spacious living room, but very small rooms - they really wanted to pack as much people as possible.

Very unpleasant argue in the morning with cleaning service. When we were leaving apartment - a cleaning gentleman saw we are taking out bikes from inside of our room. He started yelling at us and basically kicked us off from the room. He screamed we should use "ski room" to store bikes.

We were careful to not leave any scratches from bikes, we were not charged any deposit - so it was just his occasion to scream at us. There was no guidance on 'welcome message' to use ski-room for this. Regardless of that - quality service would suggest that in a kind manner. I do not recommend to stay there - just because of service, that sticks to my memories...
