Green Prater Apartments — Hotel in Vienna

Location: great if you visit Prater. For everyhting else it is a bit too far away. 30 min by 2 metro lines from the city centre. 50 min by metro lines from the ZOO.

It is a nice modern building where people live. You have an underground garage and an elevator, check-in is super easy. It is quiet in the night which is a plus.

Parking: 37 euros per day. Expensive considering you're tooo far away from the city centre.

The apartment: Nice design. It is small but is organised so well than you can separate a bedroom from the living room easily and even cook something in a hidden closet-kitchen. Everything was clean and tidy.

But there wasn't anything for you in the apartment, no salt or sugar either, which was very strange. We do travel a lot and every single apartment that rents regularly has at least salt and sugar.

Important: there's no air-conditioning. Luckily it wasn't hot when we visited but imagine being here during the hot summer? However, not many places in Vienna do have an AC so it's quite usual here.

Sleep: bed is really nice. There are no curtains or anything that would darken the room. Only white plastic shades that cover nothing but maybe neighbours' view. The light...

Absolutely Horrible Experience – Stay Away at All Costs!

This was hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had with an accommodation booked through Booking.com. I booked this apartment expecting a smooth, relaxing stay. Instead, I got complete radio silence.

Zero communication. Zero professionalism. Zero accountability.

I never received any check-in information. I called multiple times, messaged through the app — no answer, no response. I was left stranded, exhausted, and with nowhere to go. I had to scramble last minute to book a room at a nearby Marriott (which, thankfully, was everything this place isn’t: clean, professional, and responsive).

Then, two days later — TWO DAYS — they finally respond, telling me it was my fault for not “filling out some information.”

Really? If that were the case, how about notifying your guests before leaving them completely in the dark? No reminders, no follow-up, no basic customer service. Just blame-shifting and refusal to refund. Totally unacceptable.

If you value your time, money, and sanity — avoid this apartment like the plague. Plenty of better options out there that at least...

Booked this apartment for trip to Vienna for my son and I to watch a football match unfortunately we lost lol. Nonetheless the apartments were easily accessible from Kireau train station 5 minutes from apartments and only 4 euros to any station |When booked you are sent email code for front entrance and a code to gain access for key to your room, the apartments are very clean, we had two double beds the room splits into 2 rooms kitchen was built into opening cupboards with cooker, microwave, kettle, pull down iron board.|Bathroom was immaculate with large shower sockets for shavers.
