Fraser Suites Diplomatic Area — Hotel in Bahrain Island

The last time we were here was in 2016. After 9 years, we are glad we made a very good decision to stay again.||Ajila, the Reservation staff was very friendly and very patient. She is also very professional and yet very humane in treating our request, ensuring that we understand their policy but accommodating.||The Reception are both welcoming. Odisha and Nisha are both informative and helpful. Smiles are very genuine and professional.||The suite is the best! The view is super wonderful. The bed - I can sleep all day! The toilets are clean. The furniture are well-maintained. The Wi-Fi is very fast. The amenities were great. The floor is spick and span.||Breakfast staff Suddesh is very responsive yet respectful. He has a good eye on details - when to perfectly take the empty plates on our table. Always wears a genuine smile as well.||Chinese buffet staff, Zunia, is an angel. We met her in the elevator and right away has invited us for the buffet - I guess that’s how angel work, they know what you need even when you haven’t spoken of it. My wife and I before entering the elevator were discussing about dinner plans and came the angel!||Nazmol from the pool is a lovely guy. He took the initiative to somehow train my son to swim…and now my boy enjoys the pool even more. Great staff!||The poll is perfect. The water is clean and free from any chlorine smell. The pool area is well arranged. The showers in the spa is lovely - it’s like take a bath in the rain….||Room service is fast and efficient. The extra bed set-up was very clean and felt cozy. The bed was so soft that I slept on it on our first night.||Check out was amazing. No thrills and fuzz but just warm and genuine smiles from the Reception hoping we had a pleasant stay and wishing is in coming back again.||Ms. Jennifer was also kind and positive in receiving our personal comments during the stay.||The Concierge (Bahraini - forgot to get his name) is more than a staff, he is the epitome of what Bahrain culture is all about - friendly, helpful and respectful.||Overall, the hotel was meticulously maintained all through out the years and the staff became more amazing in being attentive yet not intrusive which makes the personal care more genuine, honest and true. Our stay really and truly feels like we are at home.||Thank you once again for all your efforts and wonderful...

The place is nice, good location, close to the exit to the main highway. We had a suite on 12th floor with a so so view. Good view of the Crowne Plaza parking garage and the bright blue lights of the Diplomat hotel. But just over the hotels you can see a bit of a view. Washer/dryer combo in the room but takes forever and clothes are not dry after it completes so have our clothes hung everywhere in the apartment. Internet is not super fast and buffers quite a bit when streaming.

Layout is okay, a lack of drawer space but closets are spacious for hanging clothes. The main bedroom has a funky glass window between the shower area and the bed so you can see the person showering or using the tub. So hope you are close like that. Kids used the other room and was large enough to fit a roll away bed for our 9 year old.

Breakfast buffet included with a nice spread. Made to order eggs and your choice of coffee how you like it. It is open for a good amount of time from 6:30-1100.

Pool is nice and open and long enough to do laps back and forth. Has kid floaties available and towels for use. There are saunas with the dry one out of service while we were here. Gym looks decent but have not used yet, hope to one day before our 10 days run out.

Can make arrangements to get shuttle service to the Navy base or hotel.

Walking distance to a Dunkin Donuts, Caribou coffee, Chili's, La Chocolat (awesome pizza), mini mart, a Starbucks, and a few other places.

Overall, 4.5 stars for the lack of drawers and weird layout in the main bedroom, lousy washer/dryer, and slow...

I have been living in Fraser Suits for almost 20 days now, and I would like to thank the entire Fraser Suits team for making my stay extremely comfortable and making sure that I don't have to worry about anything.

After a tiring journey, when I checked in my room on Day 1, I was welcomed with fresh fruits, nuts and cookies in the room. That was a very kind gesture. The view from my room is beautiful. A perfect mixture of city and sea view.

The entire staff is very friendly, helpful, warm and welcoming. The security is very good.

The swedish massage provided by Remi was wonderful. She made sure I was comfortable and the entire experience was amazing. Very professional and kind.

Room service provided by Leonel is very good. He is kind, and very professional. He made sure that everything is made available for my comfortable stay.

Special shout out to life guard Nazmol, for your exceptional service and for sharing the basic tips for swimming.

Additionally I want to thank, Faisal, who dropped me to my new apartment and helped me with my luggage till the very last minute.
