Exotica Sampan Hotel & Resort — Hotel in Chattogram Division

Over all Ok experience. I want to say If this hotel was not place so close the sea and had sea facing veranda in all rooms. I would rate it one star.

Cons

1. booking experience horrible, the person the phone is rude and very impatient. Had to bkash half the payment for booking and they don't have Marchant account. Had to pay more than 500tk extra.
2. They made me wait an ~45 mins after check in time, that is 12, to give my room. They said they where cleaning the room as the guest left late.
3. while leaving they allowed me only 20 mins time extra.
4. my room.was cleaned after 1 after repeated request.
5. restaurant food it good but closes at 10, can't order anything after that.
6. no swimming pool.
7. no sits in the beach Infront of the hotel. No no place to sit in the beach and enjoy.
8. worst breakfast ever, for a hotel. 6 items. 4 egg paratha and dal and bhaji are good. Other then that it's noodles and halua. No choise on eeg type even.

Pros

1. very clear and close view of the sea from all veranda from all room.
2. 3 beds per room good for family.
3. far from the main beach. To you have a private beach feeling.
4. their is dam like structure there you can sit and enjoy the view for the outside the room
5. you can walk to kalatoli beach for the hotel via beach.

Hotel has an awesome view, all the rooms are sea view. It is the closest sea view hotel in cox's bazar. You can enjoy the beach comfortably than sugandha and other beaches. Their is less gathering here. They take much prices for their advantages they have. The room codition, staffs are ok but they can improve it. It is a bit away from the center so it is dark in the beach, public transport is not available here. Hotel management should look after it. There is much more scope of doing to make the hotel and the beach more attactive. Hope they will do it in future. Foods here is average and pricy. But the coffee was good at the cafe. At last I wish for Exotica Sampan to improve its facilities and give a much more to their visitors. Mosquito is one of major drawbacks here. No swimming pool. Ordinary complementary services. No slippers provided. They took a lot of money like a five star hotels but they are not providing the visitors the services. Only the sea view is the reason to visit. At first i want to say the following review is solely upon my experience. You may not like it.

Pros: ** All the rooms are sea view. ** The hotel is very much close to the sea shore ** Very few visitors at the beach, so you can very much enjoy your time. (Except friday evening) ** Rooms are very spacious along with a large balcony. You can enjoy a meal at this balcony. ** Bathrooms are large enough with hot/cold water system and have all toiletries ** The hotel has its own restaurent where the breakfast is complementary with room rent. For lunch / dinner you have to order first. ** Taste of the foods are that satisfactory, but well enough. Almost all foods are for two person. Price is not that high except for the Pomfret fish. Some foods are good enough eg. Vuna khichuri, all noodles, loitta fry, shutki vorta, egg vorta, thick dal, poma fish vuna etc. ** They have an open roof where you can spend some good times at night.

Cons: ** Room cleaning is unsatisfactory ** Lift is very small ** Restaurent is not that large
