Otel' Gubernskiy — Hotel in Vitsebsk

Comparatively nice hotel for Vitebsk which has few accommodation options. Often booked out. Stayed in both suite on the ground floor and standard room on the 1st floor (there are only 2 floors). Nice large bathrooms. although I found it strange that the toilet paper rolls in both rooms were locked in special wall dispensers probably to prevent users from using too much. The suite is not a good value except if a party of several people are staying. The bathroom in it is located a long way from the bedroom. Beware that in summer the hotel may lack hot water when the central municipal supply is cut off for maintenance. The hotel has one 120L storage tank type water heater for all of its rooms so if you get up late you may not get any left and the wait time for a new batch of water to be heated is 3 h. There is no lift in the hotel and plenty of steps in so many places, even to get to the ground floor. Light curtains do not block out outside light so if you're a light sleeper bring eye shades in summer as it gets light at 4 in...

Good hotel, quiet and rather close to the main places of interest in Vitebsk, in the historical center of the city, close to river Dvina. Our room was comfortable, big, warm and cozy, but required additional cleaning (we found "good" layer of dust behind the TV and piece of stale bread under the table). Приехали в Витебске на пару дней. На Яндекс карте попался этот отель. Посмотрели фото и отзывы и решили остановится в нем. Забронировали номер за три дня до заезда. В день заезда администрация связалась с нами по вацапу, уточнили когда мы приедем. Приехали в отель на авто, у отеля своя большая парковка, очень удобная. Девушки на ресепшене очень приятные и веждюливые. Объяснили и показали где что находится, проводили до номера. Отель не большой в нем всего 6 номеров разной категории. У нас номер эконом. Номер рассчитан на двух гостей. В номере две отдельных комнаты с односпальной кроватью, общий холл, душ и туалет. Душ и туалет раздельные комнаты. Номер светлый и просторный. Окна номера выходят во двор отеля. Вечером если окна открыты то немного шумно, так как внизу располагается трактир и летние веранды. Но при закрытых окнах шума нет. Изоляция в номере отличная. Так же в номере есть холодильник, телевизор, шкафы для одежды, диван и журнальный столик. В каждой комнате есть индивидуальные столы. В стоимость номера можно включить завтрак. Завтрак приносят в номер, очень удобно. Расположение отеля очень удобное, все основные достопримечательности находятся практически в шаговой доступности.
