Excellent hotel, excellent rooms, service and location.
There are just a few minor inconveniences that can be fixed (for reference, my room was 223): The key card holder doesn't seem to do anything. I would assume it would close the circuit for the room's electricity but that doesn't seem to be the case. While on that, getting back to the room at night, I was unable to see. I hit all the switches on the wall and nothing happened. I had to get to my phone's torch to be able to get to the side of the bed and run the bed light on. I still have no idea how to turn the main lights on. The big white switch by the door does nothing and the other grey ones seem to be related to other things and not lighting because they have icons on them I know my way around electronic devices, so after a couple tries I understood how to deal with the AC, but I would appreciate a small manual on the table. I know a lot of people probably struggle with it. They might not even realise that is the AC controller. They might even think there is no AC. The room numbering system needs work. Maybe it's Belgium's way of doing it with the 1xx rooms being on the floor 0, 2xx on floor 1, etc.. If it's not, scrap that and floor zero rooms get only 2 numbers (or start with 0), floor 1 with 1xx, etc.. If it is indeed something you can't change, then put by the side of the lift buttons the room range that that floor will bring you. That is especially useful in your case because different lifts serve different rooms on the same floor that are disconnected. It was not clear to me that the water and coffee are courtesy of the hotel. I was on a group tour, so maybe if I made the check-in myself, you would have explained it to me, but I would have appreciated a welcome card in the room, designed to make that clear. Now, this one is just my brain thinking out loud here... Do you think there are markers you could use on the key cards that you could easily clean afterwards with idk maybe alcohol without damaging the card? I think it would be worth looking for something like that. It would be great for marking the number of the room directly on the card. I don't know if that's possible, but it would be cool
Again, excellent work here. One of the best places I've ever stayed, in the best location possible, with friendly and helpful staff. Will...

The hotel advertised as four-star and charged more than € 300 per night. Based on our experience, see below, we would rate it as low as a two-star hotel.
1.The staff at the reception had no elemental host manners and behaved unprofessionally when we had to deal with them. Moreover, we were not the only ones; we witnessed guests angry and agitated when trying to address short comings of accommodation as well as facilities.
2.Our accommodation was less than a 25 square meters and had no coat hangers. When taking showers we had to place the soap bar on the floor; amazing!!, there was nothing where to place the soap. There was no shampoo and the shower room which was not properly clean. One time a peace of soap was left stuck in the floor drain, this resulted in water overflow that we had to mop-up ourselves.
3.The restaurant service was very poor; on our first diner the wine ice bucket was placed on the adjacent table and had pour the wine ourselves, on other occasion, when we ordered two Cavas, the bar lady look as we were a bother, further we had to take the drinks ourselves after ruddily being told “you can sit in the entrance lounge”.
4.The venue for the much heralded New Year’s Dinner, costing almost € 350 for two, looked like a cheap restaurant. Furthermore, there was neither decoration nor festive wishes. The dish service was very untimely and unprofessionally handled. Just before 12 o’clock we had to remind the waiter that they forgot to serve us traditional Champaign. When the dinner was over; no-one asked whether we had enjoyed dinner or came out to wish anyone Happy New Year.
