A most unwelcoming entry with noone to point us to our pre-booked table and no signage for where to wait. Looks lovely and is very large. That's where the good points end. There were 2 waiters serving an entire restaurant of well over a hundred unlucky guests. Initially, the waiter seemed most helpful when taking our orders. Beyond that the service was absolutely non-existent. We had to wait over half an hour for drinks to arrive and even then, only about a third of the table were served initially. After requesting the rest of the drinks at least 5 times we eventually received the rest. There was an incredibly long wait for starters to arrive - though they themselves were nice enough. Then ensued the 1 hour wait for the empty plates to be cleared. During the next 45 minutes we asked the waiter several times where our food was. There was no apology just the waiter advising us they have a very small kitchen and a very large restaurant. It is absolutely ridiculous to take this number of bookings if you do not have either the staff or the kitchen facilities to service them. It is beyond me how anybody has given this restaurant any sort of positive rating. After about another 45 minutes 2 of the women in our party went to speak to the management only to be rudely rebuked with no apology offered. Eventually some of the main courses arrived though not as complete meals. We were a table of 9 and the last person to get their main course received it around 15 minutes after the first person, and at the same time as the hard, cold rice (by which time all the main courses were stone cold). The rice was a mass serving into large bowls that was clearly left to sit for 20 minutes or so before arriving at our table. The chicken for some of the meals was rubbery and unpleasant, though the penang flavour was decent. Perhaps we were just unlucky on the night but my advice is to stay well clear of this awful establishment who threatened to call the police if we didn't pay the full bill (eventually discounted by 20% to reflect some compensation for the disappointment). Love Thai food, detest Narai Thai....

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Narai Thai, and it was truly a fantastic experience! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome with their warm hospitality and attentive service. They went above and beyond to ensure that every detail of our evening was perfect.
The food was absolutely incredible. Each dish was a delightful blend of authentic Thai flavors, expertly prepared and beautifully presented. The ingredients were fresh, and the balance of spices was just right, making every bite a treat. Whether it was the classic Pad Thai, the rich and creamy Green Curry, or the refreshing Som Tum salad, everything was cooked to perfection.
The atmosphere at Narai Thai was also noteworthy—cozy, elegant, and perfect for a relaxing dinner. It’s clear that this restaurant takes pride in providing not just delicious food but a complete dining experience.
I highly recommend Narai Thai to anyone craving exceptional Thai cuisine paired with top-notch service. I’m already looking forward to...
Read moreFood is excellent. The quality of service can be improved significantly. Not sure if I can actually comment also becaus to be fair she was all alone on the floor handling service taking order issuing bills taking payment cleaning tables so really it’s 50-50 I guess.
Quantity can be improved through. For some reason people these days don’t provide food by heart it’s not like cooking for love or serving people for eating. We ended spending 90 euros for two adults and 1 kid and only main and drink no entree either and it was not enough so we ordered additional food.
It would welcome and be appreciated if the owner can improve on the quantity of food for the price charged.
There is also a better Thai restaurant in Malmö the price they charge Is reasonable and the amount charged is same or according to it.
Please try to serve food to feed people and not to rob...
