Large concert building with high-tech sound and light, which is the main thing. Overall accessibility of the building on the inside is good but not excellent - a few bottlenecks near the entrance with its commercial stalls and near the downstairs toilets and hall entrance doors. Tribune seats are hard to reach by elevator, which either is absent or badly signposted, so beware of the 6 or 7 flights of stairs to tribunes if you have painful knees. The back corridor of the high tribune was half blocked by a commercial stall which hampered circulation to and from bar and toilets during the 15 min break. From the acoustics to the architectural details, this building is truly a magnificent piece of work. Almost every angle, every picture window, every square hole, materials used, architectural details were carefully thought out. The people of Brugge and its concert visitors are extremely privileged to have this concert hall accessible.
I highly recommend for anyone interested in music and architecture to visit, attend a performance or take the tour. This is truly a gem and wish that it be part of the top 5...
