If you’re staying in La Louvière, this is the place to rest, especially if you’re on a long-term stay. Benefits: very nice, multilingual front desk; owner on site daily and friendly to guests; small, intimate hotel but attracts people from all over the world; tasty, fresh breakfast; rooms have a modern appearance; a very short walk from La Louvière’s downtown core and its second train station. Drawbacks: local teens use the alley next to the hotel as a meeting spot, sometimes until late at night; cleaning staff is good at cleaning but bad at leaving a room as they found it (nothing ever stolen, but windows left open, A/C off, etc.); parking lot is public (fees apply 09h to 18h30 daily except Sunday and holidays); parking lot tends to fill twice a day around 9h30 and 19-20h (arrive in those times and you may be stuck parking on...

My wife and I stayed here for one night in June on a short break through Belgium to the Floriade. I booked the Hotel through its own website.||||On checkout I thought the amount being charged was more than the confirmed rate but did not have the confirmation on me.||||On returning home I checked and found I had been overcharged and emailed the Hotel. The Hotel replied that the rate had gone up. (It had not actually when I checked their website). Good clean hotel with friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was normal continental style with a fairly basic choice of cereal, bread etc, the coffee however was very good. The rooms are well equipped with flat screen tv, safe etc. The hotel looks like it has been very recently renovated as it is extremely well presented and the equipment looks new. It is centrally located in the town which can be a positive and negative, the negative outweighed the positive for me.
