Had a horrible experience, pretty sure staffs were just racist. They only gave one key card for one room, even if we have 2 persons staying in a room. When we asked for another card, they rejected our request. Not to mention they charge 5 euros for a horrible Wi-Fi which is as slow as a sloth. No kettle, no refrigerator, no complimentary water bottle, nothing.
They even had a time slot for us to eat our breakfast from 7:45am-8:30am. We were so shocked and asked nicely why is there a time slot? Most hotels have breakfast buffet which is open from 6am-10am so we can just go at anytime we want. Instead they snickered at us and said that’s impossible. We tried changing the time slot but they rejected our request as well.
The room that my friend was staying in, the door knob was broken. He couldn’t lock the door so he told the receptionist. The receptionist was a woman and she was very rude and seemed to be impatient. She went to his room and was pushing and pulling the doorknob roughly and was teaching my friend how to lock one as if he doesn’t know how to. It turned out that the doorknob was really broken so she was ashamed after that.
My other friend on the otherhand, didn’t have the remote for the heater in her room. She went to the receptionist and asked for the remote. The receptionist angrily brought the remote for her and she turned the room heater for my friend impatiently. She then said “There, it’s switched on now. Do not touch the remote. Just leave it there. Do not touch at all.”
We had dinner there as well and when the waiter was serving our food, we asked him what was it as we were a huge group so we wanted to know what were they serving so we can give it to the person who ordered it. But, the waiter was so rude that he told us that he doesn’t know. Ask our tour leader, we should know what we ordered. Like, we just want to know what you’re holding so we can give it to the person who ordered?
May I ask what service is this? I’m a customer, I paid for your service. No one deserves to be treated in this way. Thanks for the hospitality and you’ll never...
Read moreWe stayed for 3 nights, the bedroom was nice, modern clean and spacious. What let the whole experience down was the distinct lack of kettle, tea and coffee making facilities and also no drinking water facilities, when we enquired about drinking water, we were told to drink water from the bathroom tap!!!! (Seriously!?) . When we asked for tap water in the kitchen we were told the water would only be the same as what we would be getting from the bathroom taps! We were also told on the first day by the manager that there was tea & coffee machine downstairs in the lobby and that we could obtain a token from reception staff to get tea and coffee for free. On the second day the two receptionists namely Lumeng & Jasmina very rudely told us that the tea & coffee was not free and that we were only given the first drink for free as a welcome. This was evidently not the case as the manager had expressed the policy clearly. These receptionists lack professionalism and are in serious need of some customer service training, they seemed either not to know or care about how to keep guests happy. Tea, coffee & water are basic!! Not luxuries. their front of house staff receptionists Lumeng & Jasmina really let the hotel down, which is a huge shame because the actual hotel is nice. I would not recommend the hotel, purely because the very basic hospitality such as drinking water & tea & coffee is overlooked !!! Avoid,...
Read moreRight in the beginning I must say that although this Hotel claims to be a Ramada it’s faaar from Ramada standards. Let’s start with the downside: upon entering our room late in the evening the above scene was quite a shock. The room was not cleaned after the previous guest. At a little before 22:00 we tired to order some food from room service, however all they had to say is that if we go down to the reception we can get some potato chips!!!! The room service card advertises that the full selection is available until 22:00 but a limited selection can be ordered until 23:00. NOT true. Th elevator doesn’t require a key card to operate so technically anyone from the street can get up to the room floor with no problem at all. In today’s security conscious world this is unacceptable. There are NO electric outlets anywhere near the bed hence it’s inconvenient to charge phones or any other equipment.
To be fair here are the few upsides: After complaining about the dirty room, we were immediately given a much nicer and clean room. Staff at breakfast was friendly and efficient.
In closing I must repeat myself that what this Hotel has to offer doesn’t come anywhere near Ramada standards and I have had the opportunity to be in Ramada hotels...
