Overall we were happy with our stay, because of the nice big room and bed and the location of the hotel. However, there are some negative points to consider:||- the breakfast (which was from 7.30-9.30) was so limited that everyday almost everything was gone by 9.00||- there was only 1 towel in the room, we had to get another one at the reception||- on day 3 we asked for new towels but the cleaning lady told us there were no clean ones anymore (??? seems very strange for a hotel) so we didn't get new ones||- the laundry service is terrible. We brought our laundry in and they told us we would get it back the next morning at 10.00. However, the next morning they told us that it wasn't done yet and we would get it the day after. This wasn't possible for us since we would leave that same night. After a lot of discussion with the reception, who called the laundry service, they arranged for us to get the laundry back in the afternoon. However, when we finally got it back it wasn't clean, some items were still wet and there was an item missing. We reported the missing item to the reception, who called again with the laundry service. They told me I was mistaken and that everything had been sent back. I insisted they checked again since I was sure I was missing something. They told me to check again and they would let me know something later that day. In the evening we still hadn't heard anything back. There was someone else at the reception who knew of nothing. He called with the laundry service again and after an hour he brought me my missing item... After all this fuss we still had to pay a lot for our laundry (14 bs per kg), not worth it at all!||- We ordered room service at the reception, the clerk told us it would take 30-40 min to arrive. After half an hour he came to our room telling us the pizza deliverer was closed. I don't understand why he took so long to call and tell us this? Very...

We arrived at the address of the hotel that we were sent in our booking email. We went up to the front desk to explain we had a reservation for the day. The staff on the front desk did not know what we were talking about so we explained our booking was for this address. He told us to go away, get a taxi to a different hostel. So we explained again that our booking was for this address. The member of staff starting getting irate and told us to go and get a hostel somewhere else. We had been travelling all night so I went to sit down while my boyfriend explained we have a booking for this address. The member of staff then told us he was calling the police and threatening us! Bare in mind... this was the exact address on our confirmation email ! We had only been in the city 20 minutes. He forced us outside into pitch black night and the rain. We had no idea what was going on. We had just been threatened and forced to leave the place we had booked??? I didn't want to go outside, as every guide book ever tells you La Paz is dangerous at night... but we were forced and threatened. Standing outside in the cold rain my boyfriend rang and rang and rang luxestone suites. After a long time they answered. We were told the address had changed and they just 'forgot' to tell us. We got a phoney apology that didnt even begin to make up for what had happened. Then (surprise) it was never mentioned again. Swept under the rug. Terrible. AWFUL service. The worst I've ever experienced. And for the prices of the rooms? I'm considering suing...
