The hospitality here was amazing. Diego greeted us warmly and welcomed us at check in with information about the hotel, restaurant, and room. He made sure we understood that the hot water may take a few minutes in the shower. And we received some chocolates. ||Our room was small but comfortable. There was not a lot of space to spread out in either the bedroom or the bathroom but it was fine as we were only there for one night. ||The lounge area is wonderful. Tons of space to spread out and have a hot beverage (available to guests) and relax. And not just the lounge had space to relax--there are other areas to sit spread throughout. ||We loved the restaurant here, too. The food was good and the service was, too. We ate here both the night we stayed here and also upon returning from the desert before we got our night bus onward to La Paz. ||This felt like a luxurious option in the small and dusty town of Uyuni. Highly...
Read moreWe made a booking (via the hotel website) at 2.30pm to arrive on the same day (for 2 nights). We received a confirmation email saying that they were expecting us. As we took a bus from Villazon and as it was running quite late, I took the liberty to inform the hotel about our late arrival via their WhatsApp number. The contact person there responded me that there was no problem and that the front desk had been informed. He was very passive and not helpful at all (he just said he was sorry). After we started to complain he just told us that the hotel in front was OK and that was it. He didn't call them to make sure they had a free room or anything, he didn't care and just waited for us to leave while it was 11pm. All in all, very poor experience and very...

The hotel was exquisitely decorated and the staff was incredibly kind and professional. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. The breakfast served was extensive, though as I have found with all food in Bolivia, the food looks better than it tastes. I did not have a chance to try the pool but did peek in and see the spa area which was beautiful. My only small quibble about my room was that the lights in the bathroom were positioned so that they are blinding. This note aside, I would not hesitate to stay here again even if it means passing through the town of Uyuni. I recommend this hotel...
