One night stay during which we could experience the hospitality and problem solving skills of eucalyptus and its staff - checkin without problem, rooms very clean and spacious and premise overall in very good shape.
Since uyuni had been out of water for three days before, unfortunately when restarting water supply the pump of eucalyptus broke in the day we arrived so no fresh water (new pump just arrived the next day) - eucalyptus proactively offered to bring us to another hotel or give us a discount and then made sure that while staying there was enough water from the neighboring property to flush the toilet and provided water bottles for personal hygiene.
Upon leaving early in the morning we were also given a small to-go breakfast as we had to take an early bus to San Pedro and thus missed out on the breakfast.

Read moregood rooms with ensuit bathrooms. the rooms are tiled throughout, and there is plenty of hot water in the ensuite. there is also central heating in both the room and bathroom, which was welcome as it was a bit chilly during the night. the beds were comfortable and as a nod to the salt flats, the headboards and bed bases were made of the local rock salts!
the location is about 15 to 20 minutes walking to the town centre. the host was very friendly and helpful, and fluent in both English and Spanish.
there was also breakfast included, which was the usual breads, scrambled eggs, fresh fruits, teas and coffee. I have to mention that they also had porridge, which was a welcome change from similar accommodations.
the only minor recommendation for the owners would be to make a better sign on the front door for the name...

First, because it is above average - premises are clean, there is hot water, beds are comfortable, has good WiFi, and it is located on walking distance to the center of town.
Second, it is a family run business. We were attended by a very kind and generous couple, they are retired and not professionals in the business of tourism. But they were very caring and accommodating.
