The reason to stay 1 night in Uyuni was because we would like to spend some time on Uyuni town before going to the salt hotel. We’ve arrived Uyuni Airport at 7:45pm, a Taxi from hotel took us there for Bs30.||There isn’t an elevator in the hotel, the room was on the second floor, luckily we’ve just brought a small suitcase each. The hotel room lock was a padlock, and a big crack was visible on the glass window, but they will lock the main door during the night so security won’t be a big problem.||Hot water and stable water pressure for shower, the bathroom was quite clean, there was a reminder to turn on the tap at least 7min for hot water. The room was really cold throughout the night, no heater was provided.||Breakfast was provided on the 4th floor from a home kitchen, food options were a piece of bread and order to made scramble egg.||It wasn’t located nearby the main square of Uyuni town, but it was pretty close to the pick up point of the shuttle to the salt hotel. Comparing the facilities and service with the hotels in La Paz perhaps it was a bit overpriced(USD50 per night).||Check in 3Apr2019|Check...
Read moreCute hotel. Very sweet hardworking staff. Breakfast was good, we enjoyed the eggs and fruit juice.
During our stay overall we did not have experience was not the greatest, but not the worst either.
No soap to wash your hands in the bathrooms. However you can go the convince store on any corner and buy soap, just a short walk.
The water did not heat up in the shower like they said it should have.
The heater did not heat the room. Woke up every 15 mins at night because we were so cold.
We were supposed to have one bed but we had two.
Whole hotel has a weird smell.
However, my sister’s room had a heater and hot water and she liked it.
So I think we just had a rough time because of the lack of heat.
Great customer service, nice staff, great location in town. It’s an easy walking distance from many places in town.
Overall the KW hotel has a lot...
