We stayed one night at this hotel and would recommend it to others visiting Uyuni. The room was clean and beautiful. Staff were super friendly, and they went above and beyond with allowing us to store luggage and use the bathroom prior to our room being available. One of the staff even gave us a free lift into town. Be aware that this hotel is not walking distance to the town and is quite isolated. Luckily, we didn't have an issue with getting taxis. By the time we were able to find someone, we only had time to quickly pay and leave. We were starting to wonder how we could even pay if we couldn't find anyone. This was probably a language barrier/miscommunication. We would still recommend...
Read moreThis place is more than fantastic, unfortunately the place does not symbolize the rest of Uyuni, as Uyuni is dirty, dusty and not a place to spend anything other than the salt lake.
But back to the hotel: The reception: really pleasant atmosphere, everything is mostly made of salt, with a cozy wood-burning stove for the coming nights. On the 1st floor there is a cozy restaurant where breakfast is also served.
The room: quite delicious, also mostly made of salt. Comfortable beds, small toilet that works. The Bruche bath taken in the room itself, which is built into the room itself.
Outside the premises: We came by car and were able to park the car safely within the fence.
Will I come back? Definitely yes, if my path fell past Uyuni.
A sidenote, you are traveling in South America, in this case Bolivia, where there are a lot of dogs - if you can't handle dogs barking at night, find...
