Magnu´s Pousada — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata de Angra dos Reis

I recently stayed here for three nights while visiting Paraty with friends. Overall no complaints with the pousada. It is located about a block from the historic center of Paraty, also within walking distance of the bus station. The staff were quite helpful and friendly. The room was relatively small but not tiny and was very clean and well kept. The breakfast could be slightly better quality but was sufficiently varied for our taste. In general I think the hotels in Paraty are overpriced due to the influx of wealthy visitors from SP and RJ, so you will feel like you're paying more for less compared to other tourist destinations in Brazil. The pousada is clean, breakfast to good, and the location is amazing. It was our first accommodation in Brazil.||The one comment I do have, is that after Paraty we were planning to go to Ilha Grande and we neeed to take a bus and then get a boat. It was not that easy to communicate to the staff even though, we do appreciate they tried their very best which was really nice. ||It just would have been a little easier if someone had a better grasp of English. We go there in the end, so this is just a minor comment. ||It does seem to be accommodation more for Brazilians and Portuguese, and no so much for others. But if this does not bother you, (like us) then it is very clean...
