Praia dos carneiros is really a piece of heaven on earth. ||The pousada praia dos carneiros has an amazing poll and a very good breakfast. The rooms are ok- comfortable but simple but there are 3 things that I would like to report because I believe if they work on that the experience will be much better.||Its clear that the pousada has infrastructure problems , typical of Brazilian lack of planning ( comfortably speaking as a Brazilian.)|| First - Internet wi fi - it really doesn' t work. when you check in they give you the password and the next thing is you can't find the network, so you call reception they tell you that it really works by the pooll area. Better say the truth, the pousada was full and the network doesn t support all the traffic. Only at the poll area. Fine. lower the expectations, lower the stress.||Second - no hot shower. it didn't work at all. Ok, Ok, tropical country why bother if you dont have hot water.... this is an easy thing to fix and so as the internet. Enhance the network, keep an eye on te maintenance of the rooms.||||the 3rd is that the pousada doesn't have blowdryers. Pretty basic... So I asked in he front desk and they said they had two that I could put my name on a list to get it. Never happened.|| Caneiros s becaming a popular wedding destination. If this pousada really wants to be an option to host guest that are going to attend weddings please invest on blowdryers or make it clear that they dont have it. Also, none of the employees speaks English. This a point that needs to be addressed.||Apart form this, the staff is nice.||A note of advise for foreigners please avoid beaches in the northeast of Brazil on weekends. The paradises turn into hells. Packed of people and other people trying to sell...

Read moreThe location is fantastic. The layout of the pool, beach chairs and recliners is perfect. Lot of shade or sun. Fantastic music. Excellent massage at a very reasonable price. Sadly there was construction all around the hotel and from the Pousada next door. Drilling and banding starts at 7 am. The rooms may well be spectacular in the future when the new builds are up but the website and room photos are very misleading. Rooms are shabby and our ground floor room had mould and an old dripping shower. We moved and the room was much better but not like the rooms in the photos as advertised by the hotel. We found the drinks and food poor and overpriced at this hotel. The breakfast had a poor choice and frequently ran out of things. There appears to be no management or leadership on the catering side. Service is poor - we waited 45 minutes for our omelette at breakfast and then gave up, There were only 5 occupied tables in the restaurant area. Plenty of staff but they stand around chatting. |Reception staff are polite and accommodating. |The swimming pool seemed very murky for the size especially as there were few people using it. |We enjoyed our stay as a base and found other places to eat and drink and...
