Bahiamarela — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata de Cabo Frio

We have been to Buzios many times and decided to stay at a hotel close to the beach. Unfortunately, proximity to the beach and the morning breakfast were the only things we enjoyed about this hotel.||||After being told several stories about why the wifi was not working (we needeed to stay in touch with relatives back home), constant noise from the stairs that attached to the side of our room, and the other party in our group having a room on the opposite end of the complex when we made our reservations together, we asked to talk to the hotel manager Michel. Shortly into the discussion it became apparent that Michel was not going to take responsibility for anything related to the hotel our his staff. He did offer to give a discount on a future visit (we weren't looking for any type of discount and why would we want a discount on a future visit!) and he could move us over 2 rooms on the upcoming Saturday. Of course on Saturday we did not get another room.||Some other concerns we had with the hotel: When there was hot water, it could not be controlled or adjusted with the knobs so there is a possibilty of being scalded, especially children. The hotel was constructing a tile patio during our visit so you could hear a tile saw at all hours during the day. I'm not sure why they decided to do construction during the busiest time of year. Many of the rooms have balconies high off the ground with wide open railing, making it very dangerous for children to fall off the balcony if the balcony slider is left open or unlocked. Also, if you are going to stay at the hotel, please make sure you bring bug spray as we found a poisonous centipede in the bathroom.||Unfortunately, I would not reommend this hotel if you are looking for a relaxing and...

I've just come back from Buzios. It is an amazing place and I believe this posada has the best view of the town. It is right across the Joao Fernandes beach and the pool is fabulous, always at the right temperature.||However, it is not perfect. Here are some of the negative aspects I've found: breakfast is served from 8.30 to 10.30-ish. You're on vacations and don't want to worry about anything, so when you arrive for breakfast at 10 and there's no more coffee, it is annoying. Also, the different tours start at 9, so you have no time to have breakfast, cause they're not usually on time either.||They don't provide towels for the beach, only for the pool. I asked for a wake-up call and told me as a joke that maybe I should stay awake all night to be safe. Thank god I set my cell phone alarm clock cause they forgot to call me.||They're terribly slow to serve food, whethere it's by the pool or in your room, and that's probably because there's only one person working as a waiter and bellboy at the same time...So, the management is not that good at all. ||However their staff is very friendly, always with a smile, trying to make up for...

Me hospede con mi pareja y sinceramente no lo recomiendo a pesar de que teníamos expectativas dadas las fotos que muestra la página oficial del hotel y los comentarios que están subidos aquí. En primer lugar, llegamos a la posada y a simple vista lo que es la recepción y la zona de pileta me pareció muy lindo. Incluso nos recibieron con unos jugos mientras hacíamos los trámites del check in. Ahora bien, cuando ingresamos a la habitación , notamos varias fallas. A modo de ejemplo, la caja fuerte es un cofre antiguo que no funciona. En el baño, hay una ventana que si uno la quiere cerrar no se puede porque ni siquiera está la traba, es decir está rota. Después, abrís la bacha del baño como para lavarte las manos por ejemplo y se inunda, lo mismo con la ducha. Se te llenan los pies de agua. Sumado a eso, el vidét tiene una grifería muy antigua y si la abrís, empieza a salir agua por abajo. Para completar, las 4 noches que estuvimos hospedados ahí, hubo olor a humedad siempre. Por qué ? Porque todo el techo tiene manchas negras de humedad. Asqueroso. El resto de la habitación le hace falta una mano de pintura , y que mejoren la mueblería . No puede ser que si es una habitación doble , solo haya una mesita de luz nada más. Respecto al balcón, tiene una vista muy linda pero uno no la puede disfrutar porque no tiene una silla para poder contemplarla. Por último, cabe destacar que el hotel está ubicado arriba de la ladera de un morro, rodeado de vegetación por lo que si alguien tiene fobia o impresión a los bichos / insectos , no es el lugar indicado. Digo esto porque la primera noche, al volver del centro nos encontramos con una lagartija en la pared por lo que tuvimos que llamar a recepción para que la saque. Además también había arañas, hormigas, y lombrices (todo dentro de la habitación). En la recepción vimos dos veces una comadreja. También quiero señalar que hablamos con un muchacho de la recepción y le preguntamos cuánto salía una habitación de una categoría superior, como para poder pasarla mejor en nuestra estadía , pero las dos veces que se lo preguntamos fue evitativo y 0 resolutivo. Nos dijo que teníamos que hablar con una mujer que ingresaba a las 9 de la mañana y como no la pudimos ubicar , le volvimos a consultar y nos dijo que la iba a llamar para avisarnos y nunca nos dijo nada. En definitiva calificó con dos estrellas a este hotel porque la limpieza estaba bien, la cama era cómoda y tiene una linda vista (qué tal como dije antes, no se puede disfrutar).
