It's a little paradise. My husband and I were visiting Alto Paraiso, however, our first accommodation didn't work out, so we were looking for a place elsewhere. We also liked the energy of Sao Jorge better than Alto Paraiso because it was calmer with a friendlier attitude. We found Sao Jorge just by coincidence and we walked into Trilha Violeta asking for accommodation on the spot. Once we walked in the staff was very friendly and to our fortune, there was a very nice lady Andrea who spoke English. It was such a relief for us because both of our Portuguese is very basic. The people who work there are so nice and welcoming, they gave us a beautiful room with a hammock, which was one of the best things. We felt in very good hands and safe because we didn't know anybody in the area and our language skills were not great but we felt like home at Thrilha Violeta. The place also looks so beautiful that it always felt nice to come back after hiking. The rooms were beautifully decorated and what I Ioved the most, with complimentary incense. I would not hesitate to stay at this place. Sao Jorge also has some great restaurants and people are just very nice. We could not believe how perfect this place was, the people were almost like our guardian angels. The price was also reasonable for the area in comparison with other places. It was one of the best places we stayed in Alto Paraiso area, and...
