Residencial Santa Lucia — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata de Fortaleza

When we arrived the shower didn't have hot water as it was broken, something they should have checked before our arrival. Aircon is in the bedroom and large fan in living area. We had a flat on the 2nd floor. The wifi cannot be reached from the apartment or is extremely slow so you have to stand on the stairs to use the wifi. Kitchen is absolutely tiny with minimal chopping space however there are 4 gas cooking rings and we were fine making spaghetti with sauce, steak and veg and breakfast. Kitchen equipment is limited but there is a pan, pot, metal straining spoon, wooden spoon, seive. There was also a microwave and blender. The pans are non-tefal so making crispy potatoes was not possible as they burnt or went soft. Couch is comfortable, tv has only Brazilian channels. Bathroom has space to put toiletry bags. There's a sink to do laundry and drying rack. Surprisingly no washing up soap and sponge was provided which meant we just washed up with soap and the cheapest scourer we found. Not ideal but for a few nights it didn't justify the price. The street is slightly uphill but we always felt safe. 10 minute walk to supermarket and 20 to the beach. Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby and an acai cafe across the hotel. The lady working reception there was lovely and an asset to the hotel. A higiene do local deixa muito a desejar. O apartamento 102 estava com várias baratas. A estrutura precisa de uma mão de tinta e a cama e o sofá já precisam ser trocados. A tv (que deveria já ser smart) deveria ficar no quarto. O box do banheiro é bem pequeno. O residencial não tem um hall e só permite fazer checkin e checkout entre 8h e 19h. A rua é um pouco esquisita e, devido a ser estreita, não passa ônibus ou van. Você precisa se deslocar até a esquina para entrar nesses veículos, caso agende passeios com agências de turismo. Não acho uma boa ideia ir para o lado esquerdo do Residencial. Se for a praia, vá pelo lado direito. Se precisar guardar a mala, há a possibilidade de guardar na recepção dentro do intervalo que mencionei. A escada para os pisos superiores é de metal, em espiral, estreita e perigosa. O telefone indicado aqui e no site não funciona, mas, na véspera, entrarão em contato com você. Se for fazer compras, a referência é o Supermercado Pinheiro a cerca de 2 quarteirões. Na minha opinião, a nota não faz sentido. Se dinheiro for o maior peso, dá pra o gasto. É o menor custo, mas não vá esperando grande coisa. Se R$ 150,00 a mais não fizer diferença, dá pra pegar um quarto simples em hotel de franquia nacional e com uma maior qualidade de higiene, estrutura e localização nos arredores do...
