Pousada Ilha Verde Itacaré — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata de Ilhéus – Itabuna

This is a fantastic little place to stay. ||Our surf guide, Felipe, at Local Surf Itacare, organised it for us and I can't thank him enough for it.||||The Pousada is in a fantastic location. It is based 5 minutes walk from the main street, Pituba, but not too close so as to be disturbed by it. You also think you are in the middle of the jungle as it is right on the edge of it. A whole back wall of green vegetation surrounds the Pousada on 2 sides making the place feel like it is in the middle of nowhere.||||From the minute you arrive you realise this is truly a peaceful oasis. Rebecca, who looks after the place is super friendly and helpful (including organising me a hire car) and the rest of the team, including the cook, the cleaner and the gardener are super friendly and nice.||||The rooms are super clean and spacious and not what you expect from some Pousada's. They are simple yet elegant - and maybe that is in thanks to the wonderful French owner.||||I was surfing at 6am every morning and would be back at 10am to catch breakfast - and my word, what an amazing breakfast it is. After surfing I could eat a horse, and thankfully there was lots and lots of food to enjoy. All deliciously home cooked. And if you know you will be back late from surfing they will save it for you. Thank you!||||The place is centred around a couple of mango trees which drop about 12 or 15 mangoes a day - i think i ate about 3 or 4 a day as they are so wonderfully juicy. As soon as one drops, run out grab it, wash it, devour it!||||The other great thing is that the dogs welcome you in every day. All 3 of them - Chocolate the dad, mousse the wife, and Galak the son!... if you don't like dogs, well, it may not be the right place. But then again, don't go to Brasil (or India, or Spain, or...) if you don't like dogs wandering around.||||There are also little things that make it perfect as well...||The big double doors open so you can park your hire car safely inside.||There is a great yoga studio||A fantastic massage room they can organise for you||And a raised tree lounge to sit and chill - if you don't like your own personal hammock outside your room||A nice outdoor pool and lounge area||Oh, and it is one of the few places with wifi - even if it is not the fastest, it is easy and free!||||This is a great place in an awesome little town.||Try it, you won't be...

I have stayed at several pousadas in Itacare and now that I found Ilha Verde, I will never go anywhere else. This is the best pousada to be right in the city while being in a green Oasis. I love that it has Yoga on site! The yoga teachers are great. There is a pool surrounded by green, if you are lucky you will get little monkeys coming for a visit. ||The staff there are really what make the experience so special! Music, the night guard helped me get acai fresh from the tree and we made our very own Acai! Rebecca is amazing to help plan any activities in town as well. I really felt safe and at home while at Ilha Verde. The breakfast is so good too!! I love all of the different selection. The hammock on my porch was the perfect way to finish a busy day of exploring paradise! I can hardly wait to plan...

Alors par où commencer ?

Forcément je vais commencer par du négatif. Le fait de payer 100€/ nuit pour une chambre sans rien de spécial. Voir même beaucoup de points négatifs (d’ailleurs 5 minutes après notre arrivés on a demandé à changer car le prix était énorme par rapport à ce qu’on avait, elle nous a répondu que ce n’était pas possible, ils sont full c’est le carnaval. Elle n’a rien voulu savoir et on a eu 0 geste ou compassion en retour.)

Bref les points négatives : La chambre est collé a l’accueil/restaurant Notre terrasse est à l’ombre tout le temps (vue sur escalier, petit déjeuné et arbre) Le frigo fait un bruit énorme (on a du le débrancher, d’ailleurs on nous le rebranche tous les jours.) Il y a de la moisissure dans la salle de bain et dans la chambre (photo) Le bord des lits sont sales (photo) À 00h40 on entend une femme parler très fort (je me suis réveillée en sursaut pensant qu’elle était dans la salle de bain) (video) Et je peux vous dire que le personnel commence la mise en place du petit déjeuné à 6h00 du matin (oui on entend vraiment tout)(vidéo) Il y a + de moustique dans la chambre qu’au Carnaval de Itacaré. (D’ailleurs à 100€ la nuit un produit anti moustique n’aurait pas été de trop.) À la piscine il y avait une crotte de chien (photo) en plein sur la structure d’ailleurs l’intérieur de la piscine était salle aussi. La réceptionniste un matin après son footing, bien transpirante est rentré dans la cuisine (question hygiène on y est pas vraiment.) Enfin, je pense que j’en ai assez dit, malheureusement notre réservation n’était pas annulable, car pour ce prix on aurait pu avoir mieux dans un autre établissement.

Je m’adresse maintenant au propriétaire qui est apparemment français, si vous louez une chambre sur la côte d’Azur à Antibes, pendant le festival de Cannes à 100€ nuit alors que vous n’êtes pas à Cannes (comme ici nous ne sommes pas à Rio) je pense que vous auriez été très déçu de la qualité de ce nous avons eu. Mon compagnon et moi même sommes des hôtes rbnb donc nous savons de quoi on parle.

On a payer 175€ les 4 nuits à Itacaré dans une chambre et un lieu bien + confortable que celui ci.

Sur ce, revoyez vos prix et vos prestations. Ce qui en est sûr cette chambre ne vaux ABSOLUMENT PAS 100€ la nuit,...
