A Culinary Journey to the Middle East at Alamaim - A Vegan Delight
My dining experience at Alamaim, a charming vegan Middle Eastern restaurant, was nothing short of exceptional. The restaurant prides itself on offering delicious vegan dishes at reasonable prices, making it a standout choice for food lovers.
I ventured to try the 'Oriental Plate', which offered a delightful assortment of various dishes, allowing diners to savor a little bit of everything. Among these, the falafel was the showstopper – undoubtedly one of the best I have ever had. Its perfect blend of spices and impeccable texture made it a memorable part of our meal.
My wife chose the 'Alegria da Horta' wrap, and it was a hit as well. Packed with fresh, flavorful ingredients, it's a great option for those looking to explore beyond the ordinary.
The warm and inviting atmosphere was further enhanced by the exceptionally friendly and attentive staff, who made sure our experience was pleasant and comfortable.
Complementing our meal was an array of chilled beers, serving as the perfect accompaniment to the flavorful vegan Middle Eastern cuisine.
Alamaim is not just a restaurant; it's a vegan haven that transports you to the heart of the Middle East with its authentic flavors and hospitable service. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a unique and delightful...

I would write all the items we ordered but it was too many to remember, it's easier if you check out my uploaded photo instead. This is a...

The Moroccan couscous consisted of bland boiled vegetables swimming in garlicky water, sitting on top of the worst possible couscous imaginable. I suspect that the tahini hummus had no olive oil in it (???) as it was bitter, dry and pasty. Finally, the shakshuka was passable, although not much more than slightly glorified tomato concentrate with overcooked eggs. Thankfully, the service was okay and the decoration very good. Overall...
