Comfort Hotel Joinville — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata de Joinville

First room I was given (405), I had to change due to a leak in the bathroom ceiling. Apparently the bathroom above has plumbing issues. Rooms are small. Requested 2 x double beds, which I got, however, they are really more like American Twin Size Beds. Hotel staff were pleasant and attentive. The price I paid was comparable to many other options of Hotels available in the city. I chose the comfort Joinville, because I am a choice rewards member and was taking advantage of a triple point offer. After checking out I came to find out that Comfort Joinville does not participate in awarding points to the Choice Rewards Program, in fact, no comfort or qualtily hotel in Brazil at all participates. Had I known that before hand, I certainly would not have stayed at this property, and would not stay again. There are many other options avialable in Joinville with similar pricing and are much nicer properties in better locations and offering...

I had two stays in a sequence and faced issues on both. On the first, the room energy switch did not work with my card key because it was too thin or with a wrong color and they knew about it… on the second week, they gave me a room with no water on the sink. Just poor maintenance management. I would never expect this in a city like Joinville and its well educated people from Europe colonization. This is not true anymore. Finally, no respect on the scheduled breakfast hours due to covid restrictions. Very poor management about the crowds due to the dance event, the hotel just created the false restriction hassle to look like they care about covid. The hotel is in the center of Joinville,just 5 to 10 min walk to shopping Meuller (shopping mall) & restaurants/bars.Even the busstation is close.The hotel has a big parking place i only used the car to go to work,so when i want to go to the restaurants or bars i didn't need the car,i just left it at the hotel.The staff was very helpfull and polite and te rooms are cleaned every day.Breakfast was excellent a lot to choose what you want to eat.I didn't have dinner at the hotel restaurant because 5 to 10 min to the center you can choose which food you prefer.I had the opportunity to eat a different...
