Pousada Tijupá — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata de Resende

The Pousada Tijupa is unique first and foremost because it is secluded, tucked in a fairytalish little valley (or ravine). The Pousada was tastefully built in order to blend gently with nature and has its own natural waterfall.||||The service is highly personalized from the moment you call and speak to Tom who knows everything about the historical origins of the city and is willing to get out of his way to make your stay unforgettable. Just as an example: I was struck by sudden hunger in the middle of the afternoon and asked if there was something to nibble on. He immediately offered some parmesan cheese and dashed to the kitchen from where he produced an unopened cheese block, which he carefully sliced (after he washed his hands in front of me), peeled and then diced in paper-thin slivers (because it is more elegant and it tastes better). He then proceeded to tell me the enticing history of the city's origins.||||Then, there's Aline, the manager, Roberto, Moacyr, Felipe, and Marcos the gardener; they all treat you with the expected courtesy and respectfulness blended with a relaxed friendliness of those who has known you all your life. Each one of them seem to exist to tend to your slighest desire and to make your stay a seemless, and I should say, unforgettable one.||||Time seems to stand still at Tijupa. We came back rejuvenated....

My wife and I really enjoyed staying there. Worth shelling out a few extra bucks to stay in the private cabins, with a hot tube and a fireplace --smaller rooms are fine, but in a cold day you'll probably want spend some extra time in the room rather than going out. It's in the middle of a quiet area, with lots of green, nice place to rest. Staff is really nice and helpful. Restaurant is good too, which is handy especially in weekdays, when most restaurants in the city close.||||Only a few negatives: getting to the main building for breakfast/dinner from the cabins can be tricky if it's raining: it's a short walk, but in an open area where you can get wet and/ore slip. there's a nice outdoor pool, but it's in the shades, so unless it's a very bright and sunny day, it feels a bit cold in there. Wouldn't hurt to have room service there too.||||The positives more than offset the negatives, and I'd definitely stay...

Esta pousada foi um achado, depois de muita pesquisa. Os valores que encontrei, no período de 12 a 15 de julho de 2021, me pareceu honesto, depois de tantos valores altos em outras pousadas nem tão bonitas e bem cuidadas como essa.

Eu paguei certa de R$ 770,00, fora taxas, na modalidade à vista, por noite, na suíte master. E diga-se de passagem, a suíte mais linda que eles possuem, para o meu gosto e o da minha esposa.

A maioria dos quartos são isolados uns dos outros e ficam sob pilotis, o que os tira do alcance dos olhos de quem estiver transitando pela pousada, conferindo maior privacidade aos quartos.

Estar sob pilotis também confere estacionamento privativo para alguns quartos.

A pousada estava maravilhosamente bem cuidada no período em que passei a minha lua de mel. Grama verde e bem cuidada, sem buracos, ambientes limpos e bonitos. Tudo funcionando perfeitamente, pelo que pude notar.

É bom notar que por ser uma região fria, não há mosquitos mas pode haver habitantes rastejantes, como foi o caso de darmos de cara com duas aranhas (que eu desconheço o tipo), mas que nos fora dito não ser venenosa mas que, todavia, uma picada doeria.

O atendimento dos colaboradores é ESPETACULAR. Tom, Vitor e Francisco dão um show de atendimento e simpatia.

O café da manhã é maravilhosamente bem serviço. Tudo é fresco e há algumas opções de produtos produzidos por lá.

VALE MUITO a pena a estada nesta pousada. Lugar SENSACIONAL!

ALGUNS DETALHES:

A operadora que eu uso, Claro, não pega ali na região do Vale do Pavão. Portanto, faça um pré carregamento das rotas via wi-fi quando for sair.

Usei o Google Maps. Foi o mais fiel para os trajetos ali na região. O Waze sempre ficava dando falha de rota, e por vezes me deixou na mão.

O trajeto para o Vale do Pavão, até a pousada, é uma estrada. Chatinha, mas tranquila. Estejam com o step em dia.

JANTAR:

A pousada estava com um problema técnico na cozinha, na ocasião, e jantamos sempre em Maringá. Todavia, a experiência não foi muito positiva.

Embora seja uma alameda gastronômica, os restaurantes não parecem conseguir lidar com muito público, atrasando MUITO na entrega das refeições.

Tivemos a mesma experiência no restaurante Cogumelo Bistrô e no restaurante Marioca.
