Hotel Florença — Hotel in Região Imediata de Campinas

I've stayed at this hotel a few times now, whenever I visit my family in Americana. This, I think, is the best hotel in the city of Americana, and it's perfectly fine and a suitable hotel. Apparently, they brand themselves as an upscale hotel, but it's far from upscale when compared to hotels in the US or even in bigger cities of Brazil. ||My first stay there I stayed at one of the bigger, nicer rooms on the avenue side, this time I decided that it wasn't necessary, and stayed at a smaller one in the back. The room was nice and comfortable with a large, clean, nice bed, either queen or king size, no frills. ||The bathroom was extremely small and a little cumbersome since at any time I went in I had to close the bathroom door in order to get to the shower. ||A small detail that bothered me immensely and that could have been easily and cheaply changed, my bedroom had bright white lights, rather than the nice soft warm white lights I'm mostly used to. It made me feel as if I was in a meatpacking plant. ||The bathroom flush was slow and non-efficient and I would expect that such hotel would've changed its toilets for water efficient ones at this point, but not the case. ||I used the "gym" once, which looks nice on the outside but sadly is very limited, supplied with low grade workout equipment. It was also very hot in it and when I called the front desk to ask where the AC remote control was they told me that it was broken, they built the gym the year before. Lots of construction, great breakfast, internet was down...

Me hospedei com uma amiga no último final de semana. O hotel é maravilhoso e o pessoal da recepção nos atendeu super bem. Entretanto, estou aqui para reclamar da forma que fomos tratadas pelos funcionário que nos serviu na piscina e o responsável pela cozinha. Fomos para piscina na parte da tarde e pedimos através do cardápio online o Trio Italiano para consumir, quando o prato chegou o garçom deixou cair no chão um dos itens do prato, uma crosta fina de tapioca com queijo que fazia parte do pedido. Depois da falha o garçom disse que iria trazer o item que caiu novamente para complementar o que havia deixado derrubar, porém nunca mais voltou para nos atender ou de fato trazer o que tinha prometido. Quando saímos da piscina fomos para a recepção falar do que tinha acontecido e pedimos uma compensação equivalente, o pessoal da recepção chamou o responsável da cozinha. Um homem que me olhou de cima a baixo com visível olhar de repulsa, foi grosso ao me corrigir sobre os igredientes do prato enquanto eu explicava a situação e que simplesmente disse que: "Vou pedir para mandarem pra vocês" e nos deu as costas. Nem eu, nem o pessoal da recepção entendeu o que ele quis dizer com isso, iam mandar a crosta fina para a piscina de onde já tínhamos saído? Iam mandar pro nosso quarto sendo que o restante dos itens do prato já tinham sido consumidos? Enfim, retornamos para o quarto e esperamos um retorno da recepção que alguns minutos depois nos ligou para informar que nada poderia ser feito... Sério? Um hotel desse nível e nada pode ser feito? Nos tratam feito lixo com olhar de desprezo por não ser gringo ou com cara de rico? Por não estar "elegante"? Paguei o mesmo que qualquer um lá hospedado, na hora do check-out cobraram o valor normal do prato como se nada tivesse acontecido. Achei uma vergonha!!! Treinem melhor o atendimento de vocês para não acontecer esse tipo de elitismo, todo cliente deveria ser tratado com respeito!!! É o mínimo que se espera quando se trabalha nesse setor. E eu como agente de viagens SEMPRE que tiver que falar de hotéis na região vou expor essa...

Look for mr. Nelson who works at the restaurant, he makes all the diffenrence!!! Actually, go only with the restaurant working!!! They are the heart of the hotel. Others employees are too young and dont pay attention at customer needs. They didnt warn us about no lunch, or dinner or even no room service on sunday. And they didnt told us about the breakfast change schedulle during the week ( sunday goes until 11, but monday until 10) Mr Nelson when realized that we werent told about the breakfast, immediately brought us food, even the breakfast was already finished. Beside that, the room and the pool are amazing, and they have a beatifull bar...
