Hotel Slivnitsa — Hotel in Burgas

The hotel and rooms were newish but quite basic and somewhat run down already. No fridge in the room contra online descriptions. Wifi was working fine but the owner appeared to me as a bit of a ** to be honest, which made me feel to move somewhere else the next day.

At the check-out the owner started to complain how I had left some trash in the room and had asked them whether they could help me with my luggage (mainly because I had a small knee injury from a week ago and doctors orders not to put heavy weight on it). He said the hotel is not a five star and they do not provide such services and the guests are expected to take their own trash out with them. In my opinion, this is not a typical hotel, but rooms for rent in a modern residential building. What I did like was that the place was quiet and our room was very spacious and at a very good price. Staff is very helpful and courteous. The rooms and the corridors are interestingly decorated. Higher floors are accessible by lift. There is no 24-hour reception and you have to carry your keys constantly with you. If you drive car, it will be more uncomfortable, because parking in the area is very difficult. The beach is not far away, it is around 20 minutes by walking. The worst hotel I have ever been in my life. The shower was covered in black mold, the bed is super uncomfortable you feel the springs all over your body and the pillows are horrible too, the next day your whole body will be sore. And the worst part is that there were a lot of bugs - during the night a bed flea bit my 7 month old baby in the face, I could find several dead bed fleas on the bed and other dead bugs on the floor (like spiders), and also a live cockroach in the bathroom.
