Family Hotel Flora — Hotel in Nesebar

AVOID !! AVOID !! AVOID !!||Don't waste your money staying here !! as it was not a cheap stay !!||I have never written a bad review, in 11 years on Trip Advisor, so this will be a first !!||It is the " WORST HOTEL " WE HAVE EVER STAYED IN !!||We have stayed in plenty of 2 & 3 * Hotels, over 30 Years, of Travelling.||ROOMS = NOT CLEANED in 2 weeks, "COBWEBS" there when we arrived & there when we left.Bedding changed once, Towels changed twice. Thick dust on surfaces & light fittings. Cobwebs everywhere ! " AC " - Front Panel Missing. Broken Chair on the Balcony. Tired Furniture, flaking paint in the under bed drawers. Stains up the wall ?? TV - only Analogue - not Satellite - no English TV Channels, NO WI-FI in the room only in Reception.||FRIDGE = " BLACK MOULD " & yellow inside !||BATHROOM = " BLACK MOULD " on Shower Screen ! Dirty Floor Tiles.|Water dangerously " HOT " !! IN SHOWER. The water goes scalding hot when you turn on the tap, or flush the toilet, when someone is having a shower.||SUN TERRACE = " CAT - POO " - ON THE SUN TERRACE, FACING THE SUNBEDS !!!! ( There for 8 Days, only removed when we complained to the Balkan Rep ) !! Torn & Dirty cushions, on the 4 sun loungers.||FOOD = " LACK OF IT "||BREAKFAST = GOT SHOUTED AT BY VANYA - THE CLEANER !! - for taking 2 tomatoes ?? Only allowed 1 tomato, 1 slice of Ham, 1 slice of Cheese, 1 boiled egg, 1 piece of fruit. 2 slices of toast, Tea or Coffee.|No seconds that is your lot!!||DINNER = " WHAT A JOKE " - was on Half Board but it felt like " RATIONS " !!||NO MENU !!||STARTER = Chicken Soup OR Shop ska Salad. ( CAT HAIR - in my Salad )||MAIN COURSE = Pork OR chicken for 3 Days, then "Take it OR Leave it",| no choice, plate just brought out & put in front of you !!||DESSERT = " FLUFF " OR Ice Cream.||What a choice for " HALF BOARD ".|| |"SAFETY" = The lights don't stay on automatically for long enough, dangerous when going up the winding marble steps.|Fire Extinguishers - Dated 2003 & 2004. Also on the floors not on a stand.|Doors to the Hotel are locked on a night, also to the breakfast room.|You are given your room key & the front door key. If there was a fire in the night & you had to get out - remember to take your room key with you, to get out the building, as it is " LOCKED " ?? How is this allowed, also NO FIRE DOORS.||ROAD = Small side Road to the Hotel - " VERY DARK " - on a night, felt unsafe walking to Hotel. Road uneven, no path, not suitable for pushchairs & wheelchairs. You have to get your own suitcases down there, we broke a suitcase wheel dragging it.||NOISE = " SEAGULLS " - SQUAWKING - 24 HOURS A DAY -- I slept with earplugs in for 2 weeks !!|||We booked this with BALKAN HOLIDAYS = We reported all the problems we had to the " REP " 4, Times - she came to have a look at the Hotel, - Vanya - the "Cleaner ", & Angel - the "OWNER " ended up shouted at me & finger pointing, in front of the Rep - totally aggressive & threatening situation, to me & the Rep. Made us feel uncomfortable for the rest of the "Holiday " !!||They seemed to forget we where the paying GUESTS !!||This Hotel is advertised As a Non - Smoking Hotel it is not - the Cleaner is smoking all over the Hotel - even where the food is served. Cats in the Hotel ( they were the cleanest things in the Hotel ).||Not a child friendly Hotel, with activities - absolutely nothing there !!||When we arrived Angel - the owner informed us he didn't speak English or Vanya - the cleaner - strange as it is exclusive to Balkan Holidays for English Guests?? ||We booked this Hotel after reading all the good reviews on Trip Advisor, what a shock we got !!||PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY STAYING AT THIS HOTEL !!||THE BEST THING ABOUT THIS HOTEL - WAS LEAVING...

Family Hotel Flora, Nessibar, Bulgaria||DONT TOUCH THIS HOTEL WITH A BARGEPOLE||Over the past 54 years my wife and I have travelled extensively, and consider that this hotel to be by far the worst hotel we have ever had the misfortune to stay at. ||The hotel is managed by two elderly people, neither who can speak much English, and are the only people working in the hotel. No other staff is employed to run the hotel, clean rooms, provide meals, upkeep and maintain the hotel, and who can speak only a few words of English.||Apart from availability at breakfast, the management were never readily available for queries, lack of cleaning in rooms also suffered due to lack of staff. In fact our room was only cleaned 4 times during our 7 nights, and not to a satisfactory level.||There are no safe deposit boxes in rooms or a strong room available for hotel guests. For a fee you are provided with a paper bag to put your belongings in, i.e. passports, currency, flight tickets, credit cards, which are then placed in one safe, which nobody has seen, in a room where one of the management apparently sleeps.||This we found concerning, as on three occasions I passed the door to ‘the safe’ when nobody was inside, and a complete set of keys were still in the keyhole of the door.|When we required our belongings from the safe we could not find any management, and on the day before our departure we had to contact our Balkans rep to contact them, as neither of them were on the premises, so that they would return to the hotel and return our belongings. Earlier we had seen one of the managers two streets away sitting on a bench with friends. We had also returned to the hotel one day and found it totally locked up.||Breakfast was minimal to say the least, with no choice given at all. There was no fruit juice, coffee was given as only one cup, half a cup at that, and the food offered was four slices of toast with packs of butter, a few slices of processed cheese and a few of processed ham. Some minimal fruit was offered and only one choice of cereal in a plastic container which apparently, from the other guests who tried them, said they were soft and stale. Although our last morning required us to leave very early, no arrangement was made for any sort of breakfast at all.||The rooms were fairly spacious, but were badly in need of upkeep. We found white dust appearing on our suitcases which appeared to be from flaking paint on the walls. The air conditioning units appeared to be falling to pieces, there were dangerous spikes coming from the wall, and electric sockets that were loose. Our bathroom sink tap dripped badly and there was no plug for the sink. ||We were also disturbed at night by an intermittent noise which sounded like a faulty air conditioning unit which the management just told us no other guests had heard it, or complained about it, and made to attempt to find the fault at all.||We were on the 3rd floor, the hotel had no lifts and when we requested somebody to help with our cases on leaving we were promised some assistance. This assistance never appeared.||All in all Family Hotel Flora is a disgrace and falls well short of the standard required and the monies paid. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Bulgaria, but the total enjoyment was reduced by the apathy of the managers and the condition of Family Hotel Flora. ||Balkan Holidays are “investigating” our concerns, we would never consider ruining a holiday by staying at this hotel again, and until Balkan Holidays look into these concerns, I would advise anybody considering staying at the Family Flora Hotel, to...

Скъпи пътуващи и обичащи истински хубавите хотели приятели, мога да напиша цял роман за преживяването си в хотел "ФЛОРА" в Боровец. Романът би бил...трагичен, защото така определям сблъсъка на очакванията ми и реалността още с влизането си в тази "хижа" по мое мнение. Никога преди не съм имала лоши впечатления от хотел или съм оставала дотолкова разочарована преди да прекарам 5 дни тук... Още с пристигането си човек влиза във фоайе, което не отговаря на 4-те звезди, с които се хвали "хотелчето" - стари мебели, неудачни цветове и неуютна атмосфера. Случи се така,че аз и семейството ми бяхме настанени в старата част на хотела, за която рецепционистката ми каза, че била скоро реновирана. Реновирана?! Не бих я определила така изобщо! Никой не предупреждава, че съществува друга част на хотела, различна от основната. Тя е скрита на повечето снимки незнайно защо. Представяте ли си колко бях шокирана, когато ми казаха, че трябва да доплатя, за да ме преместят в нармална стая в новата сграда. Банята миришеше ужасно (не на цветя и ароматни свещи, а вие се сетете на какво), врата не можеше да се затваря (единствено, ако си Хълк то след хилядократно блъскане може да я затвориш); терасата на старата част е свързана с още 20 тераси чрез дървени дъски, през които съвсем лесно може да се прескочи и някой да Ви обере, а да не забравя и гледката, която е към отсрещния хотел и покрива на ресторанта. Басейнът е малък и тъмен. Бях чела в една книга, че тайната на щастливия живот на датчаните е хубавото топло осветление. Е, тук то беше като от социалистическо време - интересно смесване на жълта и бяла светлина, от която те заболява главата, защото е удивително неестествено за човешкото око. В коридора се носеше странен звук между пръщене и съскане от вече споменатите лампи, от което сякаш стрели се забиват в главата ти. С излизането от стаята те обвива мириз на манджа, което не е най-приятното нещо рано сутрин. Сигурно бихте ме питали, защо преди да отида не съм разгледала снимките? Направих го и още как! Но знаете ли какво? Нищо не изглежда така, както е в реалността. Отидох при рецепциониските, за да се помоля още веднъж да ни преместят в новата част на хотела, а те се опитаха да ми изказват доводи за чудесните му качества. За да ме преместят трябваше със сигурност да доплатя, но това е абсолютно неприемливо след като в сайта НЕ пише, че ако си в старата част или в стая с долно качество плащаш хо-малко, но се съгласявяш с по-лошите условия. Не го направих. Отказах се. Изкарахме там още 4 вечери, за които бяхме платили.

Дойдох в Боровец с целта да дишам чист въздух и да гледам вечер звездите от терасата, но вратата заяждаше ужасно и трябваше направо да изкъртя станата, за да изляза. А излезех ли чувах от съседната стая група момчета, които се провикваха "аре вее...". В тоалетната нямаше сешоар. Чудех се първите два дни дали е възможно това изобщо в хотел с 4 звезди. На третия ден разбрах, че сешоарите се държат на рецепцията, нещо, което беше ново за мен.

А има ли все пак и нещо хубаво в този хотел и би ли бил подходящ той за някого? Трябва да призная, че храната на блок масата беше наистина вкусна, а обслужващият персонал там е чудесен, така че ако обичате да хапвате и бихте преглътнали всичко друго, тогава...
