Hotel Darius — Hotel in Nesebar

We booked one week half board at the Darius hotel which put a big dampener on what was otherwise a brilliant holiday. Me, my wife and two teenage boys arrived at the hotel and shown to an apartment which consisted mainly of a living area, one bedroom and a wet room. The bedroom had two single beds which we gave to the boys which left a sofa bed for me and the wife. We have not slept a full night it was so uncomfortable. The matrass was no thicker than a quilt and you could literally feel all of the wired base, it also moved when we did. We were offered a full English breakfast the first two mornings that was served cold next to the pool (no dining room) and included chips. On the first two evenings we were served a meal by the pool, there was no menu and the pork steak with chips (again) was cold. We the opted out of the evening meals preferring to eat at local restaurants. The staff spoke very little English and communication was a problem. The washbasin in the wet room leaked and the wc was not fastened to the floor. After speaking to the manager there were some improvements but we still would not return to this hotel. Sunny Beach is a fantastic resort but was spoilt by very poor...

on arrival we were greeted by nikolay the manage, he was very nice and spoke a little english, enough to understand and get by on, the apartment was very nice but did have ants when we arrived, but we sprayed the skirting boards with fly killer and had no more problems, the maid came almost every day and left toilet rolls as required and emptied waste bins,the living room floor wasonly mopped twice during our stay towels were changed once a week but if you wanted a change more often just leave them in the shower, the beds were changed twice during our stay, we had to ask the maid to sweep the bedroom floor. there was one pan and a frying pan enough to manage to make a meal with. we didnt eat or drink at the bar so i cant comment on this, as i have walking difficulties it took me about 25 minutes to walk to the main part of sunny beach, but where the apartments were situated there were 2 supermarkets close by and a nice bar where they served nice meals only 2 minutes walk away. apartments were in a quite area of sunny beach so enabled a good nights sleep, at the end of the holiday nikolay was really nice giving us all a hug and helping with luggage onto transfer bus. will definately...

So we arrived at the hotel for 7 night for 7 guys , 1 room for 3 people and 1 room for 4 people, when we arrived at the hotel we got told that we had 2 sofa beds and 1 double bed for 4 guys and got told that “we could share the bed as we where family and that isn’t a problem” the food the served us I wouldn’t serve to my dog our dinner on the first night was sausage and beans second night was chicken and veg (there was little chicken on the bone) the water that the food came in was part grease part water, the staff where very unfriendly and unpleasant. We went out one day with the air con on and the door shut but came back to the maid telling us the door was open and that the air con was broke and would possibly have to pay for it , trying to explain to them that the door was closed and air con on just wasn’t happening , the sockets where also falling off the wall , the shower had a constant drip and wants the cleanest intact had to use the other apartments shower, we where told that there was no rooms available as hotel was full there was signs outside the apartment stating that there was rooms available and also a sign...
