Before i begin, let me just say that i am usually the one who says " people will moan about anything" and "if they want English food stay in England" but boy this was bad! ||The description of the villas does not sufficiently include details about the amount of stairs and lack of lifts for those with wheelchairs and baby buggies.||There is a lack of staff so that in a week we got our beds made once only. I can make my own bed but i do object to not being given clean towels. i had to go to the reception desk and demand a clean towel in the end. The recptionist scoffed at me when i said that i didnt use dirty towels at home and expected a clean towel in my hotel.||The room was dirty when we got there and didnt get cleaned once while we were there. i am talking about grime around the taps and bath that came off with your finger nails! slime around the sink and grime in the toilet, dirty floors and mould.||The wardrobes did not get used properly as we lived out of our suitcases due to the smell of the mould in them and around them. That was just the room!||The pool was disgusting as who ever built it omitted to create a drain away any where within the vicinity. A cleaning lady (who would be better served cleaning the rooms) swishes the dirty water around the area with a broom from where the water congregates into huge puddles, so it is spread out enough and evaporates in the sun leaving the dirt behind. This goes on all day long. The water keeps collecting into large areas with dirt at the bottom which is continuall pushed past where you sit so that if you have a bag next to your sun bed it gets soaked in all this disgusting liquid.||The ALL INCLUSIVE is a joke. Yes you can get the usual drinks expected (NO ICE) but as for food, if you call access to a hot dog throughout the day all inclusive thats it. There is ice cream that you can help yourself to. There are no snack bars other than this open between meals.||The food is the same every day. This consists of what looks like plates of something that has already been eaten once before and usually for breakfast there is porridge, one lump or two! I saw cornflakes once in a week. There was some very nice bread available. unfortunately, if you want toast there is one toaster that you have to queue for for over thirty minutes. If you want coffee there is coffee. However, there are six coffee machines in the canteen style restaurant but only two are in service. if you dont make sure you are there first by the time you get there it has run out and they dont replace it until next sitting. The staff look as though they are having a bad day every day but its hardly surprising as, if thats how they treat their guests, the staff stand no chance! Thats when you saw any...
Read moreJust returned from the Kassandra Hotel.||Good location - 10 mins walk from the seafront with a massive choice of bars and restaurants. Nice pool area (need to get out early though to get a sun lounger) and has a decent pool bar.||We originally requested a quiet room on a high floor, but was given what must have been the noisiest room on the complex - on the ground floor, next to the reception area, a main entrance, a lift and also next to the cleaner's cupboard/quarters. ||Complained and asked to be moved to another room 5 times and was STILL not moved half way through our weeks' stay there. Two of the female hotel Receptionists just kept telling us that there were no other rooms available (despite us seeing lots of guests constantly leaving and arriving) and no apology was given either. The staff including the Manageress (whom we demanded to speak to and who blatantly tried to avoid speaking to us in person and over the telephone) just didn't care how we felt and how it was spoiling our holiday.||One day at 5.15am, there was a group of young lads staying in the room above ours, urinating over their balcony and throwing patio furniture and a folding washing line over the balcony also and generally disturbing the peace, which was quite scary/intimidating for us (2 females). I went to report this to the Receptionist as it was happening and she witnessed it also at this ungodly hour and still no attempt was made to move us to different room. The security man (who is a very elderly gentleman) wasn't called and the group of lads were just left to carry on for another hour and a half!||Our hotel room was very spacious and well equipped, but due to the location of our room and because of the uncaring/bad attitudes of the Manageress and 2 of the female Receptionists - I would not stay at this hotel again. ||There was a lot of family's there with young children and also quite a lot of groups of young men.||I am a well travelled person and have never had to complain about a hotel room before - I was really shocked at the extremely bad customer service received at the Kassandra Hotel. ||I love Sunny Beach, (have visited many times and used to own an apartment there) it is a very lively and fantastic resort with a gorgeous beach.||There are so many other nice and very reasonably priced hotels/apartments in the resort , I would recommend staying at those rather than...
Read moreApart-Hotel Kassandra to zwykły apartamentowiec z basenem i recepcją. I UWAGA! PLUSY ! Super basen przynależący do apartamentowca.
