Palma Hotel — Hotel in Nesebar

This will be a long one. So we booked 4 nights for a room for four in the hotel, when we arrived they told us they will make us an “upgrade” and move us into an apartament, which we agreed because we didnt knew what will come. They put us in a different building, which was old and dirty, like you can see in the pictures. We told them we want the room we booked and guess what they were overbooked and our room wasnt available. We told them thats not fair because we paid the hotel price not for this. Just to be fair they gave us 2 options: they can give us the money, but at this moment it was imposibile for us to find something else, or they can offer us the night for free. We chose the second one and oh man, we had lots of bugs, the room was really smelly and everything was old. And the lady at the reception had the audacity to told us that the room are the same with the hotel, which was not. I told them they kinda ruinned my birthday, and they offered us a cake the next day when they moved us to the room which we paid for. Pay attention to that because they tried to “upgrade” multiple groups, just say no. For the rest the food is mid, but you can find something to eat, the pool is okay and the hotel if you get to stay in it and not in the “upgrades” its what you pay for. I gave them three stars because they kinda made things fair with us, but be aware...

I can't tell you everything about how bad this place is because I'd be writing a book - but put simply - this hotel is the pits! ||||DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!! ||||I'll keep it as brief as poss...||||Everything is run-down, dirty, broken, unkept and unsafe. ||||All-inclusive is a joke. Basically it includes nothing! Very little choice of food and what there is is disgusting and inedible. Hardly any drinks and what there is is vile and watered down. ||||Staff do not speak a single word of English and are rude and hostile. There were no other English guests there either. ||||Room small, dark and damp and everything in it broken and not working. It wasn't cleaned, linen/towels not changed, rubbish not removed, no blankets, stained sheets, one tiny pillow each, tiny towels, flooded bathroom...and that's just the start. Just grim, a prison cell would be nicer! ||||This hotel has NO entertainment whatsoever and it does NOT have any of the facilities that it says it does. ||||As I said there's too many negatives to list, just steer well clear or you'll regret it. ||||Don't let them tell you it's 4* like they did us, it has 3's though I dont know how - it's not even at 2 standard! ||||Would rate it...

Pros:||The hotel was easy to find and the staff was nice, even if only 2 people knew english. ||The rooms were spacious and kind of clean, with a TV and a small fridge and AC. ||You can smoke on the balcony. ||You can play ping-pong or badminton for free.||You can also rent a bike for 2 lv/hour or play on the xbox with 5 lv/hour.||The location of the hotel was good. 10 min walk from the centre. With supermarket and ATMs 2 mins away. 5 mins from the sea.||||Cons: ||The parking cost 3euro/ day and it didn't have a camera for surveillance.||The pool was nice but the water was really cold and the pool area was pretty dirty.||The was a gym but it was really bad and old.||The food was a little bad and the drinks avalaible were awful, made with bulgarian alcohol.||||Location 4/5||Cleanliness 3/5||Food 3/5||Staff 4/5||Pool 4/5||Extra activities 3/5||Overall 3/5||||Won't come here again, but it wasn't the...
